Chapter 1: Departure, Destination, and Alternate Airports
1.1 Departure Airport
The departure airport selected is also located in the capital city of Thailand which is Bangkok. It is the longer lasting airport in Bangkok until today and also still operating especially serving as a hub to low cost carriers. The airport that has been selected is Don Mueang International Airport. It is holding the IATA code of DMK and holding the ICAO code of VTBD (TheNation, 2012). This particular airport is identified as one of the oldest airport operating today within the Asia continent. Don Mueang Airport is owned by the Royal Thai Air Force since the 27th of March year 1914 (TheNation, 2012). 10 years after the ownership of the local air force, commercial air transport services finally took place in year 1924 whereby the first airline to arrive on the opening day was KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (TheNation, 2012). New Bangkok airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport was officially introduced and opened in year 2006 which had influenced Don Mueang Airport to be shut down for a few years before it reopened one year later on the 24th of March along with renovations done (TheNation, 2012).

1. Dundas Driving Park (Starting Point) Dundas Driving Park is a peaceful, beautiful and historical park located on Cross Street, Ontario. It is located in the heart of the Dundas community and is surrounded by a circular pathway that allows the community to drive right through it.
