Hence it can be said that EBP is inevitable in providing the most effective and safe nursing care to the patient.

The topic that I chose to pursue my research on is the “Depression during pregnancy and postpartum among women of ethnic minorities in the Western countries”. This topic is extremely important because it is observed clinically that the depression during pregnancy bears lethal consequences not only for the depressed mother but also for the child. It drives up the risks of complications for both (Sharps, 2012).
