One of my early professor use to say one way to learn new things or improve yourself is to observe things around you it teaches a lot of things well that may be the reason I might have good analytical skills as I took that advice literally. If I have to describe myself I would say I am a sincere, diverse, team player and a smart man. I am a commerce student with a flair for science and arts. I have technical aptitude and an interest in management and a curious personality. I also love travelling and understanding different cultures. All these elements have helped me gain varying degrees of knowledge in range of topics. I strongly believe that with a mere Bachelor’s degree, I will still be standing at the grassroots level of the tree of knowledge. I have successfully completed my Bachelors in commerce with majors in accountancy and Masters in commerce with majors in management from Mumbai University and I have 2 years of work experience in the field of online advertising as a Research Analyst. My bachelors degree has provided me with knowledge of various subjects namely economics, industrial …show more content…

Next, I am a diligent student. I try my hardest to accomplish every task without failure. I am that kind of person that has to work hard for what I desire and deserve. I also consider myself a responsible individual because I always own up to my wrongs. Lastly, I am a strong leader and not a follower, I am the type that strives for originality.
I believe I am a very resourceful person because I have currently attended SUNY Oswego for almost three years now, have lived on campus for all of my years and am currently an Oswego tour guide. I am able to point a student or faculty into the direction of any office or location they are looking for which makes me a great resource for information. I feel I am a very responsible person, who can overcome setbacks, and is able to teach based on personal experience. Lastly, I am a nonjudgemental person who has great listening skills and accepts everyone for who they
Since I first came to college I’ve had the opportunity to discover myself and who I am as a person, and here is what I can tell you. I’m a modest consistently hard working individual who continues to set goals for herself. I take responsible for my actions when things go wrong rather than look for others to blame. I am a person who is committed to constructing something larger for the benefit of others rather than personal gain. I am a person who believes in teamwork and open communication.
For international students, except experiencing world-leading education system, possible chance of working for American companies permanently is also one of the drive factors to choose America over other countries.
College teaching a lot knowledge, but is not useful in the real world. The bachelor's degree requirement reduces the opportunity to the real talent who does not go to college. We should get the job we want, no matter college or not. Job experience and skill are more important than the paper evidences that you have a bachelor’s degree. If you are one of the high school graduate student, you have know what you want to be in the future and pick the right path.
I’m a hard-working and motivated person, because I believe that with enough practice anyone can be good at anything. As someone who is born in a collective culture, I’m harmonious and I actively seek to promote harmony and peace in groups and individuals. Because of my harmonious nature, I try to be friendly and kind to people, especially to those that feel left out. Therefore, I’m able to get along well with people while working in groups. In addition, I’m self-critical, therefore, I’m good at knowing my weaknesses and what I’m lacking.
On planet earth, there are more than seven billion people. Each of these people are different in their own unique way. A person's personality defines them the most as a person. These traits dictate how we live our life and how other people get to know us as a person. The three adjectives my friends use to describe me are competitive, active and happy.
I am confident that with a B.A. degree and my broad range of knowledge, I will have flexibility if I choose to pursue a different career. Employers will also realize that someone with a liberal arts degree has that range of knowledge of different subjects. Murray believes that “most students go to college to acquire
One book, choosing a Vocation, argues that “the best abilities and enthusiasms of the developed man with the daily work he has to do” (Parsons). A person does not need a bachelor’s degree to be successful. Some people just need simple knowledge with lots of experience to become successful. The also offers that educators “guide our boys and girls to some extent through school, the drop them into this complex world to fail or succeed entirely as the case may be” (Parsons). Even with a bachelor’s degree, nobody will know whether the student will be successful or
In a world where lives are born and taken every second, I think back to my childhood and my earliest memory is my parents divorce, but there 's so much more to me than just that. Who I am and how I got here today is a collaboration of many more memories. My parents divorce, my siblings, friendships I’ve made and lost, achievements and failures, and my future goals and aspirations. Ultimately, all of this makes, and has made, me. It is a collection of influences, experiences, and memories that make up all of us, as individuals.
Self as a Life Learner I recognize traits of myself in the results of the Index of Learning Styles Questionnaire, developed by Richard M. Felder and Barbara A. Solomon from North Carolina State University (n.d.). I like to learn facts and pay attention to the details of things. I absorb information better when it is on paper. I learn most subjects easily if I have written material and enough time to study. I have also identified some weaknesses.
My Self-Concept My self-concept includes a number of different adjectives and roles, these include both good and bad things. The adjectives I use to describe myself are as follows: kind, loyal, selfish, hard working, apathetic, practical, honest, occasionally rude, and procrastinator. As for the roles that I fill, I am a son, a brother, a friend, a student, the oldest son, and a teacher. Self-concept is a product of many things, it is not just simply what a person is.
Self expression is a term many people use. The meaning of it is how you show your true self around people expressing thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Many of it can be seen through art, writing, music, and dance. People show themselves with many different expressions. It can be any type of art and even writing.
Firstly, I am persistent. No matter how many times I fail, when I really want something, I won’t stop until I get it, so I wouldn’t stop trying until I helped my patient to find a solution for his/her problem. Secondly, I am interested, like to listen to other stories and hate it when they end up sadly. Ever Since I was little, I have loved to talk to others about their personal experiences and give advice when they needed it because it killed me to see that something was bothering them. Thirdly, I am loyal, so if someone asks me not to tell something to others I won’t tell and if I say that I won’t tell, I most of the time fulfill my word.
I have always hated writing about myself, and I always dreaded assignments in school where I had to describe myself. I always wanted to avoid doing these assignments because I did not want to sound narcissistic, or self-absorbed. I dislike people like that now, because I used to be one of those people. It took many lessons learned before I humbled myself; I am still learning to humble myself today with recent experiences I have had. Although I hate to write about myself, I have always liked to reflect on myself.
