I eagerly leap out of bed seconds after my mom comes in my room and tells me it is time to wake up. I notice no sunlight coming through my windows; in fact, there is no sunlight outside at all. I glance over to the digital clock sitting on my dresser and see that it is 3:30 A.M. On a normal summer night, I would probably just be falling asleep. But this is not a normal summer night. Within the next hour, my family will be on the road to Disneyworld! It is not my first time going to Disneyworld, however, it is my first time in four years. I am so excited that I am the first one completely packed and ready to go. As I sit on the tan leather couch in my living room, waiting for my parents and siblings, I imagine walking down the crowded streets of Disneyworld. I hear the children’s laughter, as well as the Disney music that is being played. I smell the sweet scent of flowers lining up the Disney parks. We load our car with suitcases and snacks, and then we are finally ready to go! We all pile into the car, and the collective sound of seat belts buckling has never sounded so beautiful. I plug my headphones into my phone and begin playing the Disney soundtrack I downloaded specifically for this ten hour car ride. As we drive, I stare at all the trees passing by while also daydreaming about some of my favorite rides. Space Mountain. Expedition Everest. Soarin’. Toy Story. I can’t wait any longer!
