Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville
The Grand Bohemian Hotel in Ashville doesn’t skimp on the grandeur; its part Austrian castle, and part hunting lodge. Overstuffed couches, antler chandlers, and a huge stone fireplace greet you after the valet shows you inside, not exactly roughing it!
The entire building is a tribute to the owner’s Austrian heritage; the house restaurant, the Red Stag Grill serves ample helpings of stew daily to patrons seated at handmade wooden tables. Elsewhere there is an art gallery, and a ballroom; complete with a rare Bösendorfer piano.
Each room at the Grand Bohemian Hotel offers overstuffed beds for comfort and an eclectic Tutor design complete with bedside antler lamps. There are four different options starting with a standard room, and topping off with a one bedroom suite. The standard guest room modern features such as big screen TVs, Bose sound systems and designer robes add just the right touch.
Across the street in the Manor House, there are twenty other guest rooms, each uniquely decorated and featuring the same amenities of the classic room.
An executive king room opens up into a living area with a second TV and sofa bed. The one bedroom king is the hotel’s larges suite, includes a separate dining area, and in some cases, a whirlpool tub.
