With her action packed life and fierce attitude, this blogger sets the record straight on how she’s climbing to the top. Smart, reliable and humble are three words, this rising 20 year old star uses to describe herself.
Her name is Joan Akob, formally known to her close friends as Jojo, was born in Cameroon in 1992. As a crawling toddler, she never dreamed she would be making a difference in people’s lives. She is currently in her final year studying BSC in dietetics at the University of Kwazulu- Natal, proving she not just a pretty face. This blogger talks openly about her life, her future plans as well as why Picillia shirer is her role model.
We are chatting in front of the library lawn. Poised, polite and outspoken, but also resolved in her opinions, Joan is ambitious but also family orientated. She has 2 siblings. Her father is Dr Christopher Akob, an entomologist, while her mother, Jane Akob is a company consultant, with such leading figures it is hardly surprising Joan is a strong ambitious woman with a growing following on multiple social media platforms. The more Joan opens up, her passion it becomes clearer, she’s definitely different and a welcome refreshment at that.
