October 12, 1991. The wind was blowing, the trees’ leaves were starting to wear autumnal colors and were falling under the last shy rays of sun. While the sky was slowly turning dark, a small, 22-year-old woman named Christine was walking in the street, ready to party. During the thick and hazy night, in the middle of a crazy party, the young and carefree woman, intrigued, walked to a man. She initiated the discussion with those simple, silly words without knowing that the young man would be the true love she hoped to find.
December 5, 2015. On a cold winter’s night, while my family and I were eating in a restaurant, my dad suddenly stood up. My parents knew and loved each other for ages, but they had never been married in their 24 year-long relationship. At this exact moment, my heart stopped beating. I was so excited for them to be finally wife and husband.
June 25, 2016. After months and months of preparation, THE day finally arrived—the day when my parents would finally say “I do” to each other; I’d been waiting for this day since I was young. The sun woke me up; opening my bedroom’s windows I could feel the hot summer breeze and the sunlight slightly touching my skin. Ready to live this incredible day with my parents, I opened the door and quickly walked to the kitchen where I could smell the enchanting aroma of hot buns, fresh from the oven.
