My dad is like Batman. He can be sarcastically bitter, cocky, clever, but yet he is willing to help out and work with someone whenever. He knows me better than I know myself. In tight situations, he always has a solution. I know that I can count on him for anything. My dad is astonishing and is one of the best dads out there. He has a great character, childhood, and even has so much in common with me. Problematic and dull would describe my life if I didn’t have my dad. I can’t even fathom the thought of him not being in my life. My dad and I share the athletic-type personality. For example, he has always coached me in softball and I help him out with coaching soccer. He also participated in many sports in high school (more on that later). I have been coached by my dad in softball for as long as I can remember. My dad …show more content…
On May 4, 1972, my dad, Phillip Arthur Rieman II, was born to Bernie and Phillip Rieman. His four siblings were the following: my Uncle Art, my Uncle Tom, and my Aunts Pat and Pam. As a child, you could always find my dad hanging out with friends, playing with action figures, at school, at sports, or in the basement playing video games. Since I only hang out with like three different friends (not very often might I add), he always tells me how he was always hanging out with friends if he was not at school. My dad went to St. Mary’s for the 1st-6th grade then Triway for 7th-12th grade. If he was playing video games he was probably playing on his Nintendo, which he gave to Mason and I. And if he was playing with action figures, they were most likely G.I. Joe. Throughout high school, my dad participated in football, track, and wrestling. Although he had a clustered life from school to friends, he was still able to spend time with his family. Spending time with his friends and family so much definitely contributed to him becoming the person he is
Cal Ripken Jr’s childhood consisted of alot of baseball and trips to the ballpark with his Dad. During this time he began to observe and get interest in the game of baseball. His Dad’s job working in baseball had a large impact on him. At a young age it was apparent that Cal would be a baseball player. Cal Ripken Jr loved sports and played soccer and baseball but he excelled in baseball.
Homer’s Dad wasn’t suppurative of just about anything Homer Did. His Dad was already disappointed that he wasn’t great at football like his older brother. Not only that, but he hated that Homer said he wouldn’t work in the coal mine after high school, wanted to try to attend college after school, and loved rocket science. That was the complete opposite with my Dad and Grant. My Dad was always supportive of Grant and his ambitions.
But while we were walking down the dirt road to our next fishing hole I slipped. I almost fell off a rocky hill but my dad caught me. He was my hero that day, and he always has been. That day he may have saved me from breaking a few of my bones, and maybe even death. I love my dad so much.
By the time he was in High School my foundation had changed a lot. Also, in my years of teaching, I got an “Educator of The Year Award” for helping my school so much. After my fund had helped a lot I decided to do something else that would be helpful, I made my own teaching books. Some of the people who are dear to me still have copies of them. Not only did I love teaching in schools, but I also loved to coach and play basketball.
His impact on my life is never stop working hard, enjoy life to the fullest. Soon after having two young boys, Tim Huyge was diagnosed with a foreign sounding disease called M.S, which is affected by heat and stress. Within the months they had been trying to find out what he had, my dad learned that it could affect his movement, cognitive thinking, his attitude, and his memory. Even though he knew all of that he
He had everything a man could want a wife, kids, dirt bikes, cars, and snow cats. He had many friends who would go riding with him and help him out with projects. He was very well liked such as his father when I meet someone's parents and tell them my name I here my grandpas legacys along with my fathers and I feel so happy in the moment to know that that they made names for themselves and know that they've had people who still remember them even after so many years. Phillip is now 40 years old and still works in Alaska. He has moved since 205 sunset drive to cda.
Jimmy never missed a single game or football practice of theirs. My Papa was a bit of a giggle box, constantly laughing and smiling never a frown on his face. Jimmy was the problem solver of the family, if you were ever in need of advice he was there to listen and help. Papa was a very spirited man and nothing could break that spirit, not even when he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease. Yes, ALS limited him to as what he could do, even
After reading this story, I started viewing my parents with much more appreciation. They are the most selfless, intelligent, and fascinating people that I’ve ever met and I wouldn’t trade my relationship with my parents for anything else in the world. Randy Pausch made me consider myself very fortunate because I think that I have won the parent
Throughout my whole life, my father has been an alcoholic. There have been times when he has tried to quit, but it never lasted for more than a few months. His addiction has brought on stressful times for my family. Some days we did not know where he was or if he was coming home. Although my father’s addiction might not have made the best childhood, he did show me the kind of person I did not want to be.
His childhood was largely shaped by basketball and tragedy. He was close to his eldest brother,
Her father was more of an intense version of my own father. In our family I am always my father’s favorite, the one that stood by him through everything. We are playful together and he wants to give me everything even when he can’t. He always wants to be the one to take care of me not the other way around and he’s extremely stubborn, cocky and loves talking about himself. He also always loved my mother even though when they were still married they would fight constantly and the amount of beers he can throw back can always amaze me, but other than that he is mostly the good parts of Rex Walls.
Since he was born in an impoverished country, his drive for success in America was motivated by being a good example for his country. My success would be testament in the community in which I live. serving underrepresented individuals is important because I live in a small underrepresented community of Gary, Indiana. I love to help people; it 's my passion to make a long-lasting positive change in the surrounding people. My dad 's achievements are a constant reminder of what I will do once I get to college and for what is up ahead.. After college, my next step is medical school.
Dad also enjoyed listening to the 49ers away games on our big Zenith console radio. It was a different story come the start of the regular season, when our favorite team was playing at home. Dad and his friend, Ben, shared ownership in two season tickets for the six regular season home games the 49ers played. Upon returning home from a game, Dad would always bring me a game program. It wasn’t long before he would instill in me his love for the 49ers.
He has passed on attributes such as honesty and respect and I hope to perfect these attributes and pass them down to my children once I am married. My parents have also influenced me in many ways such
Unlike my mother, my father would give a child a second chance. He would talk to children instead of punishing them. I remember being expelled from middle school; my father and I talked about the problem instead of disagreeing. On the other hand, my mother demands respect, and she spanked me for being expelled from
