Picture this, you walk outside and look up, you feel snowflakes landing on your eyelashes, and you see snowflakes falling down and making everything around you look like a winter wonderland. Winter is a time for spending time with your family, watching the snowfall, and drinking hot chocolate while the fireplace is lit. Those are the reasons why winter is my favorite season. It is also a unique season because there are so many different activities you can’t do in any other season but winter. They become breathe-taken when they look outside of their window and see the beautiful snow-covered views. One of the best places to see snow views for my family and I is the windy city of Chicago. My family and I love going to the top of the water tower and looking out at all of the billboards sprinkled with silver, sparkling flurries. I enjoy walking on the sidewalk downtown so I can see and feel the snow fall and listen to the street musicians. We have a tradition where we always go to Weber Grill for lunch and we take off all of our snow gear. We order hot chocolate and tater tots while looking out and seeing every building decorated with colored Christmas lights. My forever favorite place to see the snow fall is my backyard because behind our fence we have a beautiful pond surrounded by woods. Every morning I love looking out and seeing the water covered in a layer of slick, slippery ice. In our front yard, standing tall is a teal green evergreen tree. It looks amazing when lit up with Christmas lights. Talking about Christmas lights, my family and I love decorating our house for Christmas, inside and out. On the outside we have two falling snowflake projectors, Santa with his sleigh and a reindeer, two solver deer, and two little christmas trees and stars of lights everywhere.
