“It’s 8:00, where is everyone?” Lea wondered while roaming around the east hallway in her school. “What is this?” she rubbed her finger across the red substance on the wall and sniffed it. “That’s strange.” The red substance was splattered on each wall.
Roaming around the north hallway, Aaron was wondering the same thing. Caleb was walking around the west hallway, and Jen the south. The school was empty, no other student or teachers were present.
Each one of them thought that they were alone in the school, but the four best friends were relieved when they all bumped into each other in the main hallway. “Is there no school today?” Aaron asked.
“Why wouldn’t there be?” Caleb replied.

The police officer, who was terrified, quickly ran to get a detective, but before he came back with the detective, the teenagers already left to walk to Aaron’s house. When they got there, they decided to look up their school website using Aaron’s laptop. Aaron was about to click the link to their school website, but then he noticed that their school was all over the news. Aaron clicked on a news article with a heading that read “North High School Shut Down After Shooting.”
“Guys, listen to this,” Aaron shouted, and the other three gathered around him. “On October 31, 2016, North High School was shut down. Four students were shot and killed by an unidentified suspect. Lea Brown, Aaron Mills, Caleb Lee and Jen Hills passed away Monday afternoon when a middle-aged man opened fire at North High School. All four victims’ blood was splattered across multiple walls. Unfortunately, the suspect remains unknown, and officials are still searching for the missing bodies.

Relationship abuse is a pattern of coercive and abusive behaviors. Most of the time when abuse goes on during a relationship, it is kept a secret because the victim is afraid of telling. The behaviors that go on are to maintain total control over a spouse or an intimate partner. Relationship is a choice or in other words it’s a learned behavior. Most abusers believe that they can do what they want and get away with it.

Zienab Assaad One topic I strongly believe in is that children should not get abused , for any reason. It can ruin lives and it can be seen in persons of all ages. People ,as a whole is also affected by child abuse both in bad and good ways. In this essay I will say some of the results of this violent act on people as well as our culture.
Mistreatment of children is not a new phenomenon. Indeed, during the recent years, harassment against child has shown an increase in the public’s eye. There are many factors related to child maltreatment. It has four general categories of child abuse now recognized: physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and emotional maltreatment. Each category, in turn, covers a range of behavior.
In the past, offenders of all ages have committed crimes (some as young as 8yrs. old). Many people question “how can a person at a very young age be able to commit a crime and understand their plan of action?” Many of the youthful offenders have been inspired to commit the crime through either watching the news about a criminal case, on television, or even as well as releasing the pain the offender has experienced during his/her life. Many of these youthful offenders are suffering from mental disorders, just like this tragic event that took place on February 1996 in Moses Lake, Washington, at Frontier Middle School.
