Tom Brady and the Patriots offense is literally the best in the league and it shows. They have played a number of great teams and have scored huge against them. These two teams both are so similar in numbers and ability to win games, it almost seems like it would be both teams destinies to face off in the Super Bowl. If these two teams faced off in the Super Bowl both going 16 – 0 would make this match up even more
Houston has never lost a playoff game at home. The offense is good enough to score a few points, and if the defense plays well enough, that is all they will need to win a game or two. I doubt the Texans will win the Super Bowl, but crazier things have happened. Houston is a good team that should not be overlooked. They may not be world beaters, but this is a scary team with J.J. Watt on the defensive lone.
The Bucs were reportedly happy in giving the former Nebraska standout the compensation that he deserves after playing three outstanding seasons at Tampa Bay. David collected 430 tackles, 10.0 sacks, 19 passes defended, and 6 interceptions in just three short years, giving him the right for the no. 56 spot in this years’ Top 100 Players in the NFL.
An offseason full of changes brought a new level of anticipation for the Philadelphia Eagles’ preseason opener as they were able to slightly calm eager Philly fans worries with an impressive 36-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles’ new backfield of Oklahoma alums Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray did not play in the contest with Mark Sanchez and Ryan Matthews taking first team snaps but the Philadelphia offense was still able to show glimpses over their high scoring attack. Sanchez started slowly in his initial drive missing his first two attempts of the game highlighted by underthrowing a possible long gain to Trey Burton. While Sanchez never looked exceedingly sharp he was able to manufacture an Eagles
Why the Packers are an Elite Team The start of the 2015 NFL season has been anticipated all year. Since the end of last season, many fans, analysts, and teams have been counting down to the start of the regular season, proclaiming that this year is, “our year.” One of those team that has a gratifying chance of having “their year” is the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are one of the present day elite teams in the NFL. With arguably the best quarterback in the NFL, Aaron Rodgers, a high powered offense, a mediocre defense, and a young, yet experienced roster, Green Bay is a Super bowl favorite in the 2015 season. Like every year, the season kicked off with the NFL draft, where teams address their weaknesses and needs.
The Steelers have a poor matchup against the 13th ranked pass defense on the road. However, Roethlisberger’s assortment of weapons are too irresistible to pass up. Running Back Doug Martin, TB vs NO Watching the media “war” unfold this week between LeSean McCoy and Chip Kelly has been real. It’s been fun. And it’s been real fun.
Look for the Cyclones to use a conservative game plan until they can find players that know how to put the ball in the end-zone. Also, the offensive line needs to do everything possible to protect the quarterback who figures to be the team 's only offensive threat heading into the 2015 season. Defense: Things were just as bad for the defense in 2014. They gave up 38.8 PPG to opposing offenses while allowing almost 530 YPG. Supporting the notion the defense was pushed around all year long is the fact the defense only forced a total of 49 punts, which works out to just over 4 a game.
Bradford isn’t just the story of the year for OU football. He’s been one of college football’s most compelling stories all season, and it began, humbly enough, when he played scout team quarterback for the OU defense last season. His turn performing a largely unwanted task impressed head coach Bob Stoops and when Bradford got his shot with the offense during last season’s Fiesta Bowl.Stoops was watching.Bradford won the Heisman Trophy his sophomore at the Oklahoma Sooners.Bradford turned into one of the best redshirt freshman of the season He is also the trigger man for the highest scoring offense in NCAA history. He again led the nation In passing and also added five rushing touchdowns advanced to the BCS national title game.
He finally retired in 1996 and then pasted away in 1997. Although Devaney has no longer has a presence at Nebraska, but his mark will never be forgotten. He had two national championship seasons in 1970 and 1971, hopefully he will inspire generations of huskers of players and fans for years to come. His knowledge, intensity, and great coaching earned him nation’s outstanding athletic directors. That helped make him a football coaching legend.
Although they are having a struggling season, things have been better that past seasons. The players don 't give up their fighting spirit. “Mostly the desire we all have is to get more wins than last year” said Jack Ferguson, the quarterback on the team. Recently on Oct. 9th the warriors had a last minute win against region foe Central
The reason for that was because of his great success as a coach. He won the first Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers. One of the best Super Bowl games I have ever watched was Super Bowl XLIX. The Seattle Seahawks played the New England Patriots. It was a tight game all the way, but the Patriots pulled of the win at the end of the game.
What was most impressive was his determination related to learning to run the ball and conquer a game he had never played at any level prior to the start of his adventure. With the NFL draft just hours away, word out of San Francisco is that new Head Coach Chip Kelly in anxious to see if Hayne can make a big step forward in his second year. Even while he was coaching in Philadelphia, he was aware of Hayne 's fascinating story, telling reporters "He (Jarryd Hayne) certainly has a skill set that is intriguing.” Aside from again making the squad, Hayne hopes to continue learning to run the ball like a NFL running back as opposed to a rugby player. At 28 years old, he still has enough time to conquer the NFL and do his country proud. It won 't be easy, but the fact he is a great athlete bodes well for his chances of establishing himself as a viable running back in
The two-time Heisman Trophy runner-up had fully enjoyed first-team time these days as his rival for the Cowboys’ starting job, Joseph Randle, is currently out because of an oblique muscle strain. Third-stringer Lance Dunbar is also still recuperating from an ankle sprain that sidelined him since early August. Meanwhile, USA Today’s Jarrett Bell indicated that Dallas’ running back competition will all boil down to “trust, health, and performance” even though head coach Jason Garrett always said that their backfield would be a committee attack involving all three of his RBs. Bell cited that Randle’s off-field problems, such as shoplifting arrests and drug issues, had hindered him from being declared as the Cowboys’ indisputable starter this coming season, saying that the management needs to feel that they can rely on him to always be available during games. Dunbar is more likely set as the second man off the bench in the position, but McFadden’s injury, and now Randle’s, has made it difficult for Garrett to come up with a final
Bill Belichick is by far one of the highest coaches that many fan as well as other coaches have the privilege to watch mange his football games. This man has won championship with only have one superstar and that really hard to do at the highest level of
