The sun was starting to dip so I decided to take a quick splash in the pool. I’ve been to a lot of hotel pools but this one was really unique. Sitting high about the ground below, the pool welcomed sun worshipping guests .This pool was clearly a work of art and the designer put just as much emphasis on designing this area as much as the rest of the resort. On one side of the oval shaped pool there are massive shinny gold columns with Roman numerals in front of a stairway into the pool. Next to that there is a pool bar where guest sipped on frosty umbrella adorned libations. There are water spouts over the bar. Couples, friends, and families lounged around the pool sun bathing and rotissering as attendants checked in offering drinks, snacks and …show more content…
I had a chance to delight in the Fashion Tea that they have each day at 4 pm. What they’ve created is something truly unique and it’s a high tea with a fashion theme. The service begins with fun trays of scones, tea sandwiches and then culminates with the tower of sweets. The deserts are fashioned like shoes, handbags, and they are 100% fun for all. It’s the perfect place to take tea for ladies getting together to share the latest gossip or anyone who can appreciate this creative masterpiece by Raffles Executive Pastry Chef Roland Eitzinger who has combined the love of food with art. Raffles Dubai truly exceeds the expectations of even the most well-heeled traveler.
After a deep and thoroughly peaceful sleep on the comfy king size bed it was time to rise and shine and a quick workout. They have a comprehensive gym with every machine that the fit guest could desire. Then it was off to breakfast at their main restaurant Azur. They'd gotten lunch from the local takeaway, a burger and chips each, and had headed to their usual spot, the top of the Jumping Rock, at Dead Man's Pool. The Lagoon had received its infamous naming due to to many deaths that had occurred there over the years, where many teens, usually high or drunk, dared each other to jump from the cliff face to the icy water between the large, jagged stones. After the deaths of over 10 teens over the span of two decades, the cliff had been fenced off by the Sheriff, with large WARNING and DO NOT ENTER signs plastered everywhere. The teens, however, just like they always had done, ignored the signs and crawled through the large gap in the corner of the fence and walked the familiar path up to the top of the Jumping

This would be the best Spring break ever! We arrived at the hotel. It was about 100 stories and looked like it had jumped straight out a resort advertisement. The hotel had amazing architecture, which included a gold exterior and white detailing. A bellboy greeted us with drinks and a cart for our bags.
Dinner date with the Mendez ‘Vega Family. A night with my family of 11 people sitting around the dinner table just enjoying each other’s company. As a family we ate dinner together 6 out of 7 days a week around the dinner table together. A normal meal at my house would consist of Puerto Rican rice (Arroz con Gandules) with some kind of meat.
The ad starts with an all capitalized, some bold and some not sentence: “NOT ALL ESCAPES ARE CREATED EQUAL.” In my opinion this ad not only made the main points of their difference between other resorts but also by putting a really modernist fashionable resort by the pool picture to emphasize their point more. Their persuasion merely lies in the bolded letters and the picture with a short description plus an incentive to go and sleep there for 2 nights. So their incentive for your 2-night stay would be a late checkout, which is said to be at 4pm, complimentary parking, and lastly a $50 poolside dinning
Besides the traditional items, such as the traditional music, cross talk and dancing performance, some new items were also added into our plan, like the scented tea, milk tea, tea meals and the DIY pottery making, etc. Our detailed entrepreneurship plan, which created a new business model of tea house, was high praised the professors of our university. This experience not only improved my understanding of tea culture, but also deepened my understanding of
When I stepped up to the block, I saw a few swimmers with the same striking blue and red swim caps as me at the other end of the pool, but didn’t think anything of it.
