Verbal abuse puts thoughts into people's head that try to make them feel depressed or over powered. People are left with verbal abuse and mental scars forever. Verbal abuse can leave people antisocial and emotionally unstable. Verbal abuse can also cause someone to not trust relationships anymore. It can cause the person being abuse to shadow themselves away from the world and be afraid for the same thing to keep happening to them.
