Mine is when the woods turns into a coloring book of orange and red, when I put a nice warm batch of hot co-co on the stove, and were all of my family comes together every year. My favorite season is fall.
My favorite hobby is hunting. I love everything about it. I get to wake up at the butt crack of dawn and see the sun peeking through the trees that are colored with orange and red it is one of the most beautiful sights in the world, especially when I’m in the mountains. I wake up to the smell of the turkey in the oven and the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. I would watch the parade for the entire time, watching all the big balloons go by and I would think to myself, how big those balloons are in person. I remember one time a big gust of wind came by and almost took one of the balloon walker off his feet. They must be a big as hot air balloons.
Each family has their own traditions for each holiday and I love ours. My family’s tradition it is that we have to have delicious, warm, cinnamon covered sweet potato yams with our meal and that is not only the best smell in the world, but also the best taste, especially when I add mini marsh mellows on top and they melt over them for a nice creamy layer on top. Later in the day there are more aromas of the food in the air like cornbread and biscuits baking in the oven. Then we all sit down and enjoy are nice meal altogether as a family. I could not imagine this time of year without my family.
Fall is my favorite time of the year. For me it represents the gathering of my family, the best smell of Thanksgiving, filling your belly full of candy in October and memories that my family and I can carry on

Since I was little, I liked this time of the year even though I am not a person who lets myself be carried away by fixed dates and organized by a calendar. However, the spirit of Christmas, the thought that time returned to zero by a being who came to world to teach us to love one another. For instance, one of my favorite things that I love to do is decorate the Christmas tree.

The summer of 2016 my family and I took a road trip to Colorado. Colorado reminded me a lot of Minnesota but on a big Mountain. There are river valleys that are 1,250 feet deep to mountains that are 14,114 feet high. I climbed a mountain in Glenwood Canyon.
The smells of fried turkey and homemade pumpkin pies permeate through the whimsically decorated halls in my house. Awaking to the sound of the Macy's day parade and peeling of grandma’s special potatoes never gets old. Thanksgiving is the most momentous day of the whole year for me. It’s such a special feeling to see the whole family together, cooking, laughing, and of course eating! Thanksgiving has an idiosyncratic place in my heart, mostly because thanksgiving is celebrated at my house and has been for over 15 years now.
For Christmas my family usually comes to my house. We usually make dinner and everyone makes and brings something to the dinner. We usually make tamales for Christmas or menudo. This year we made tamales.
Thanksgiving It was thanksgiving morning and little Timmy was very excited. It was his first time staying over at Grandma 's and Grandpa’s since his parents were gone on a vacation. As he got up he smelled coffee and bread coming from downstairs. His grandparents apartment was one level above the bakery that they owned. Timmy was very confused, he thought he heard Grandma say the they the bakery wasn’t going to be open since it was Thanksgiving.
The day may be a little crazy with a lot of turbulence caused by the cooking and bouncing from one relative to another. But it is a day that I would never want to stop and a tradition I would never want to interrupt. Even though sometimes I question why we still get up at 5:00 AM every thanksgiving but now it is clear to me we do this because we are family. Family will do anything for each other even get up at 5:00 in the morning to get ready and drive 45 minutes (with us an hour) to get to my grandma’s

It is sometimes refer to as the season of non-travel because the roads become risky for travel purposes. During the dry season much of the surface water dries and the animal have to find source of unceasing water. On the other hand, there are four seasons in America; autumn (fall), winter, Spring and Summer. During the spring it is sometimes warm and at some point chilly. In the summer it is always hot and sunny.
When you think of the Holiday season what is one of the first things that comes to mind? Do you imagine the smell of gingerbread cookies in the oven, the smell of pine trees in the living room, or maybe the sight of Christmas lights scattered around town? For me it was always my holiday choir concert like the one I attended by the SIUE choirs. The first choir to perform, was the Choral Society, they sang a total of six songs. This group was not my favorite however; I did enjoy their performance of Away in a Manger arraigned by Shaw/Parker in 2012.
Which season is my favorite of all? Obviously Christmas Snowflakes fall, family members reunite, Joyful Christmas tree decorations, underneath boxes with presents, Christmas carols and joyful movies. It’s the best day of the year. Think about having a day where you can enjoy the cold weather, build snowman’s, drink hot coco and mini marshmallows, Cuddle, spend time and open presents with your family. Is there anything better than this?
