1.0. Introduction Designer Kitchen Products (DKP) sells a variety of high-quality kitchen products based in Leicester, England. Currently, DKP is distributed throughout Europe, and they intend to grow their business in Asia. A new sales manager named David Seymour has been hired to boost the sales performance by 20%. However, he did not manage to reach the target due to the low performances of the sales team that consists of multiple nationalities. David needs to raise the performance of the sales team by motivating the team. 2.0. Problem identification Based on the case study, there are three main problems identified: i. Sales team did not meet their sales target ii. The team consists of mixed nationalities iii. Low morale in each of the team members 3.0. Problem Statement There are three main problems faced by the company which are the team did not meet their sales target, the team consists of mixed nationalities and low morale in the working environment. 4.0. Alternative Generation 4.1. Hank Strengths To begin with Hank’s outgoing, it defiantly assist him to achieve the success of his sales career. It is supported by Bakker el at. (2010, cited in Antonioni, 1998), the excellent work outcomes are associated with the extroversion personality. Because the high-level extroversion brings him optimistic effects and personal energy.
