Panacea for development theories, in third world states.
This essay will firstly offer a definition for development and developing country. Secondly, critically analyze the applicability of the two main theories of development of which are modernization and Dependency. Thirdly, Offer up an alternative for underdeveloped countries using a case study. Lastly, conclude the essay drawing together the information.
The term “development” in the worldwide scope includes, the essential and resources by which to transport better-quality lives for society in deprived republics. It includes not just commercial development though that is vital, but also human development-providing for health, nutrition education,

The Dependency Theory maintains that the predicament of the Third World is as a consequence of the swift financial progression and economic expansion in the First World countries. In principle the philosophy places onward a self-motivated manipulation in which the development in ‘urban conditions weakened development in the ‘satellite’ states. The panacea for developing countries should the use of both the capitalism and communism principles. This means that, in terms of communism putting the control of the resources in the people hands and having them have equal shares in the prosperity of the nation and affirming homemade products over imported ones, and in terms of modernity/modernization, they must integrate technology into the daily lives and works of the nation such like Singapore a country that seems to use both principles in that they incorporate both sets , affirming that traditions can work with revolutionizing with the rest of the word.
