I. Introduction Ang Guro Kong Hindi Marunong Magbasa is a problematic and Independent (Indie) film and also an advocacy project for education and also to the government. A film of and directed by Perry Escaño produced by MPJ Entertainment Productions. This movie plot is an inspirational, action and drama story happened in one of the barrios in the south-western Muslim Mindanao. It is a historical true story mixed with fiction of the farmer’s life. The extremist or rebel group (like NPA) recruiting kids to join the Movement an trains young age to fight against Government entities, instead of getting an education. II. Has earnest and noble and giving intentions to us, but it can only understand and realize to those who are experiencing this situation in their social environment or life such as corruption of the Local and National government agencies.. Towards to the end of its story, a few characters are killed off by terrifying or absurd methods (it can go both ways)—the film is so clear that the audience can easily understand and poor that it is silly/funny, and it may yet draw those who enjoy that. It's worth the effort and the money on the viewer’s side for me as an audience of this great film. Also the director shows up to his film as the negotiator of the government to the rebels. This movie is a good choice because it pertains and relates to our social reality that the violence pours in: rape, massacre, various torture methods, in addition to all the gunfights that unfit for young age but appropriate for Teen and Adult
Father can only chop vegetables. Mother didn’t work in the old country, but here she gets a job in a garment factory. Oldest daughter works there too. Son drops out of high school because he can’t learn English. Youngest daughter learns best English in the family and ends up at U.C. Berkley” (Fadiman 206).
I would definitely watch this again. This film shows stereotyping and it seems to say how other cultures just “:need” what ever the “white man/world rulers” thinks he can give them. of course it is capitalism on another planet. including the greedy men and satanic politics. The author left out a point that is crucial to the ending of this movie, “jake the jarhead” is in a wheel chair and has lost the use of his legs, the security officer tries to reward jake by giving him “his legs back” and jake seems wise enough to know that won’t happen, so opts to “go native” by
“Bra Boys: blood is thicker than water” is an interesting one-sided documentary about a group of surfers in Australia. Bra boys is based in Maroubra, in Sydney on the 2nd most popular beach in Australia. It is unapologetic about the antisocial behaviour that group mentality and machismo can trigger and doesn’t shy from depicting violence, conflict and uneasy relationships with authority. The documentary shows the early life of the four Abberton brothers: Sunny, Jai, Koby and youngest brother Dakota.
In Thomas D. Peacock’s “Gekinoo’amaagejig,” he talks about Deacon Kingship and how he relates to the community. That he fact that he has down syndrome does not mean he cannot play a role in the community. Peacock also talks about Native culture and his fear about the next generation being passed down the traditional Ojibwe language. I find it interesting how he mentioned that the language it what makes defines natives (59). That without the language that apart of themselves would be lost forever.
Pointers to Insight I found this short synopsis of Soko Morinaga’s journey a very compelling piece of literature. His main theme being that everyone should live a fulfilling life full of happiness and contentedness is a theme that everyone can agree with. Another theme that can be seen is the idea of a student and sensei being able to trust and respect each other’s capabilities and hold them accountable accordingly.
The film starts in Guatemala in a very poor area showing farm workers organizating to form some type of battle against the government to have a better life style. However the film showed the government as Bandidos since the government is so corrupt, dishonest and violent against its own people. As troops killed the group organizing in order for the government still have the socioeconomic power and leave farmers as the working class so the government could have all the money meaning the president having all the luxuries he wants and not suffer for anything. According to the reading Marxism the movie was displaying Guatemalans being ignored by its own government and having zero respect for them since the Guatemalans people were being killed by its own government or taken away. However Enrique and Rosa were fed up with that and decided to immigrate to the United States were they believed that they were going to have a better life than in Guatemala.
This film is an effective thriller with unpredictable scene and great film work. Camera angles are shown in two different ways, high and low to show in relation to the subject.

Akoyia Savado, I also tend to ramble on in my essays. I find it quite simple to move away from a topic and start on a new subject. This must mean that we are good at small talk. Time is difficult for you and I both.
Certainly, the film critics have been giving their opinions over the story, and the way that the movie has been recorded; however, nobody goes deep enough to recognized that Danis Tanovic shows us everything about that war, all its aspects, actors, and yet, he is showing the audience who is who through the symbolism and the images of his characters and surroundings in the movie; moreover, he directs the attention of the audience to the issue: who really started the
The use of the linear plot with its presentation makes it easier for the viewer to both watch and follow. This is because of the way it stays in a simple order of events as well as it focuses mostly on the point of view of Satrapi. From this, it can also be concluded that the film became a documentary of the livestyles and historic events that many people experienced before and after the Iranian Revolution. This brings its great significance because it illustrated that even to this day, there has not necessarily been an end to what many people have lived with in Iran. With this realization, it became hard to swallow the truth that many people, including Satrapi, have and are still struggling to have the lifestyles that we take for granted.
It shows the enormity of the corruption of the system, as it has no regard for human life. The only thing it cares about is giving people a show to keep them busy and entertained. By changing history, the government alter fundamental values and ideas and over time succeeds in making them the acceptable norm of the society. The most explicit example of this is the government’s ability to convince the people that books brings nothing but confusion and sadness in the life of those who read them. Thus it became a recurrent and usual for people to shun away from all the knowledge reporting anyone who possess
