I was very fascinated about reading your essay on medical technology and I can definitely tell that you have made a lot of researches about your career and what you want to succeed in life. As far as knowing that you want to pursue a career on diagnostic sonographer technician is a good choice because I feel like you kind of have a best interest on that field, but I think it is better if you change your title since you want to pursue a career of diagnostic sonographer technician. I know it is a part of medical techology and with a degree of medical technology you can pursue a lot things like you mentioned in your essay, but as far as I am concerned you essay focuses on the diagnostic sonographer technician, so your title should be that as well
Mrs. White explained to me the processes of picking her career by saying that her family was very confident in her and persuaded her into going for a major in the medical field. She continued to say
The article, “Registered Nurse” by Emily H. Bratcher discusses information about registered nursing. As I plan to become a nurse, this article has caused my desire for nursing to grow increasingly. In the article it states, “They look at the entire person and their situation, not just what medical concerns they have.” (Bratcher)
I would like to become a Health Information Technician, properly known as Registered Health Information Technician or RHIT. This position appeals to me for a couple reasons. One is because I like the medical field but do not have the heart to be a doctor (it seems too sad to me). I also like technology and this combines two of my interests into one job so therefore I believe it is a good career option for me. RHITs do not collect data themselves, they receive it first hand through things such as patient histories and test results.
I felt the same way as all of you. I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist. We all have a clinical based knowledge. Nurse and Respiratory Therapist is a part of clinical team who work always together and help each other out in the hospital. I am also anxious and enthusiastic about to follow my graduate classes at GCU.
The Increasing Role of Family Medicine Physician Assistants in Health Care Physician assistants (PAs) are professionals that practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. The profession was created in the 1960s because it was noticed that there was a shortage of physicians practicing in primary care. To solve the issue of the shortage of physicians, Eugene A. Sted Jr., MD of Duke University gathered four men who had medical training in the military and created the first class of PAs in 1965. This first physician assistant class graduated from Duke University on October 6th, 1967, and the profession had great support from the medical community and the federal government, claiming the PA profession was a “creative solution to physician
The health career that I am most intrigued with is a certified registered nurse anesthesist or for short, CRNA. In the United States, a certified registered nurse anesthesist is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has acquired graduate-level education and board certification in anesthesia. Certified registered nurse anesthesists provide anesthesia in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, dentists, podiatrists, and other qualified healthcare professionals. Certified registered nurse anesthesists are the primary providers of anesthesia care in rural America, enabling healthcare facilities in these medically underserved areas to offer obstetrical, surgical, pain management and trauma stabilization services. In some states, certified registered nurse anesthesists are
Specialty Certification Is the physician assistant (PA) profession shifting away from its origins? At the beginning of the PA profession, the majority of PAs worked in primary care to ameliorate the shortage family medicine clinicians. However, in actuality, only one-third of PAs work in primary care while the vast majority has transferred to specialty practice (Bodenheimer & Cramback, 2009). Furthermore, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), has introduced specialty certification programs which could further change the original purpose of the PA occupation. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the goal of the NCCPA specialty certification program, its advantages, and disadvantages.

As my time in high school is coming to an end, my decision for what I want to do for the rest of my life is coming closer. My career choice that I would like to do would be Medical Coding. The reason that I chose this career field is because all my life I have always wanted to do something that had me involved in the Medical field and although I wanted something in this field I did not feel that I would be suitable to be a nurse or doctor. Medical Coding relates to my personality in more ways than most of the other careers because it fits more to my personality and interests. I have always been a quiet individual who always minded my own business.

I will be able to determine where I would like to live and work due to the demand of my career choices. Being a college graduate will help seeking employment less burdensome, due to the number of jobs available to me.
I am a twenty-three year old mother, full-time student and wife. I have come a long way since my high school years, from a period of inner conflict and lack of motivation to recently receiving an acceptance letter into a very competitive sonography program at the University of Texas School of Health Professions in Houston Texas. I have come to this program to start a career in the field I have always dreamed of being a part of, a dream that began when I was a child playing nurse. Although my interest in the medical field began with nursing, life has taken men through a path that lead me to sonography. Sonography caught my interest at sixteen when I needed a breast exam to diagnose whether I had breast cancer or not
The second step is getting into the Sonography Program in a local hospital. It is an 18 month program that only accepts 6 students into each class. This is the one of the hardest steps in my career plan with over 30 applicants, it is not an easy program to enter into. They make the selection process based on your overall GPA while obtaining your associate’s, as well as a closer look at your GPA in
