At this time in Elie and his family, friends and other resident are being escorted out of the harsh ghetto. People are getting dragged out of their homes person by person, some people get to stay longer than others. Mothers crying and others not able to take in that they are being snatched away from their home. Now in today's live certain people have to be the officers and pry people from their homes. Like when you have a cookout or a gathering at your home and your family or friends have been over too long and you have to bum rush them out of door. Or for teenagers and being at mayfair and it getting closed to that 3 pm curfew and some speaker coming over the intercom saying if you're not eighteen years of age or older. …show more content…

The story of Elie has now truly began to process with the Nazis barbarick plan to kill of the entire life of the Jews. Elie was now split up from his family it only being him and just his father. The Jews were beaten and also put into cattle cars and told if anyone went missing it would be death for all. We see a lot of this quote with people begin to break down with a crisis or when something is going but but truly it has not gotten to its worse. That people need to learn how to stay strong until they can not truly anymore. Response
