Hall made sure to take Noetzelman and me underneath his wing. Mr. Hall helped refine our skills as engine drivers and assisted in educating us about the ARFF apparatus. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Hall, he has helped me become a more improved and more competent driver. I was given the opportunity to become a driver during my rookie year and at first I was very intimidated. I was at the time in shock that someone in upper management trusted me enough to be a driver at a young age and rank.

Therefore, their job is to train to be the best in their respective sport in order to maintain their “full ride” scholarship. Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins says, "This is where everyone says, 'OK, go get a job, well, I can only really work for the month of July, so that's difficult. What can I do for one month? According to the Web site collegeresults.org, only 23.6 % of the students attending Old Dominion University are graduating in four years. This rate of graduation is demoralizing because I have a plan to succeed and graduate from ODU. From these results, I understand that I have to work hard and take my studies very seriously in each subject of every semester. Because a college education offers many benefits, I will be a successful student by obtaining expert advice, by developing effective strategies, and by overcoming my challenges. Psychology Professor Robert S. Feldman explains the benefits of a college education in my ENF textbook (29-31).
Nursing is a hard profession; as well as, a very rewarding profession. Nursing is not only the skills you learn in school, such as, putting in an IV, pathophysiology or assessment of the patient, but it also requires empathy and compassion. This career is not for everyone. What persuaded me to become a nurse is when I was four years old I was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL, this changed my life for the next three years, while I was getting treatment for my cancer. I would be around nurses and doctors twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week during this time.
Technicians who work for companies that maintain their own vehicles spend most of their time doing “preventive” maintenance, to make sure that equipment will work safely and smoothly. During a routine maintenance check on a vehicle, technicians follow a checklist that includes inspection of brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, as well as other important parts. Following inspection, technicians repair or adjust parts that do not work and remove and replace parts that cannot be fixed. Although many people qualify for diesel service technician and mechanic jobs through years of on-the-job training, employers recommend completion of a diesel engine training program. Employers prefer to hire graduates of training programs because these workers often have a head start in training and are able to quickly
That job would allow me to make enough money to where I can pay my bills and provide my family if I have one. If I go to ABC school to get my degree for pipe fitter/welder combo, I would only have 4 sessions to complete with $150 fee per session. This job isn 't for every one, but I believe its what I want and I 'm going to go for it. If it turns out to not be my thing I might try driving big trucks. I will continue to try things if what I 'm doing isn 't working for
If we win we are eligible for scholarships so it 's not like a regular project there is more behind it. My welding teacher says that if we win and maybe even become state champions, that will look good on any job application. The only bad thing is that we only learn the basics of welding in high school that is why I would like to attend Tulsa Welding School in Houston to further my education and skills. Those are a couple of reasons why I would like to attend Tulsa Welding School. It 's faster to graduate, closer to home , smaller and it 's a great school.

Many people may choose their careers goals based on past experiences, lifelong interests, or to follow in her or his parents ' footsteps. On the other hand, my long-term career goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon, because I would like to help others in need and be there for my parents if any bone fracture occurs. On average in the United States, six million people break their bones each year. Meaning those orthopedic surgeons are in high demand due to the fact that broken bones are a common injury. Becoming an orthopedic surgeon is not my only long term goal, but to also open a dog rescue program for stray or hurt dogs.
