Because there are have many same aspects. I couldn’t tell you all, but I can choose some important part to tell you. Firstly Physical geography can help people to know what place is safe or what places maybe have some danger if you want to there. It is very important when we go to traveling but we don’t know which country we could go or couldn’t go. I think it is a good chance you can show people your physical skills. With this statement, Mackinder makes a claim and says that no rational political geography can function without being built upon the ideas of physical geography. He says the idea of political geography is currently based upon no principles of physical geography and must not be considered a true discipline. This defines the complex and typically unseen relationship between political and physical geography, “Geography is like a tree which early divides into two great branches, whose twigs may none the less be inextricably interwoven.” (Mackinder 159). After Mackinder makes an interesting claim about how the rivalry between physical geographers and geologists are perceived.
In Ancient Greece, they had some dilemmas with the mountains, land, and seas. In Aksum, they profited from the sea, location, land, and resources. Geography proves itself over and over again that it is the mother of history throughout different time periods. Geography still and will continue impacting our lives because where a person lives can determine their future. Harm de Blij’s Why Geography Matters: More Than Ever explains the necessity of geographic knowledge in today’s society and the need to further expand interactions within the United States and other countries. This novel expands on the economic, cultural, physical, and political geography of our nation. De Blij outlines on the importance of geographic thought by focusing on climate change, terrorism, the rise of states, and development in Africa.. I believe that while geography has proven to make a noticeable difference in the knowledge of our vast world, it will require an extensive amount of effort in order to make geography known.
Also the trees played a significant role in both stories. They both had boundaries and if you messed with them in certain ways there was consequences. Where Adam and Eve could not touch any of the fruit of the tree and when they did they were punished. Also in the Iroquois version they could only eat the fruit, and when Sky Women got juice from the roots “she was pushed” down the hole. They both also had an explanation of the creation of the world.

Ancient civilizations began in areas that had arable land and other features such as rivers. Civilizations succeeded in these environments because they could settle down and not live a nomadic lifestyle. Because the land was arable, agriculture prospered and people relied on the geography to grant them the elements needed for survival. In China and Egypt, geography greatly influenced and affected the lives of the people living there because of the prosperous rivers and large natural barriers.
(I will be focusing on a capital of the Aztec civilization, their biggest city, Tenochtitlan.) While they were alive, the Aztecs had a very interesting and surprising climate and geography. The Aztec civilization actually changed the beautiful geography of their area by making more fertile land on a lake that they were living on. The area that they lived in was a good and popular place to live in that time. They used their land well, using all of the bountiful resources they had.

Positivism in physical geography is applied through a number of steps: establish research problem, establishing data sources: primary and secondary sources, selecting samples: random and not-random and methods of analysis: statistical techniques. In physical geography the positivistic approach is normally applied through the scientific method, but this is not the only way in which the positivistic approach is applied. There is also an aspect of realism to the positivistic approach as geographers need to assume there is an external reality that is capable of being examined. A careful measurement should be taken as measurement often alters measured entity. Through positivism physical geographers use reductionalism, which is done by only picking a representation of variables to observe and measure.
