Is not it chaotic to analysis every socio-economic discourse as self-perpetuating and the formulation of a democratic state as interventionist design? Indeed, the socio-economic transformation process is natural, circumstantial and too complex. Then, the formation of political institutions based on democratic credentials is also not unnatural in this process. As, within the very heart of humanity, there is obvious urge for universal values like ethics, morality and egalitarianism which give rise to some obvious collective processes. Taking example of E&P business, if we consider Energy Return on Energy Investment (EROI) to be nearing 10 for fossil fuels, the amount of discretionary energy of the hydrocarbon resources is profound and implies a great prospect for human prosperity. The basic objective of any venture in to this sector is to derive maximum energy resources such that maximum discretion for prosperity may be created in the society. This is actually the ideal objective case of maximum welfare in the society. The debate on social welfare may move even further, but the current purview confines here only. Therefore, if we can translate our consigned discretionary plan and action into the yearly balance sheet of the organization then only the significant material gain to the individual possible, rather than any other instinctive motive of human mind.
