Healthism is where one is being conveyed the importance of living a healthy lifestyle taking care of their own wellbeing as being a priority and responsibilization is where the individual develops a concern to own personal responsibilities and being accountable for their actions. These both can function independently without the government, serving as a benefit for personal and societal gains. Normalisation is where one is being thought to conform to the normal established rules of society, where one is aware and genuinely want to conform and achieve normal societal goals. Self esteem being the last, is a form of self empowerment but is however earned throughout time following self discipline, evaluation and improvement. The introduction of MIB is itself is an example of technologies of power, where the ruling government established a policy which helps regulate attributes and behaviours of the population throughout legitimise means such as implicating MIB as one of the core for the education system in Brunei. Another process at work is the technology of self, whereby after being instilled the philosophy MIB through legitimise means, the individual would then accept this philosophy and would then perceive it as a staple ideology within their life. Individuals would then start to associate MIB as the norm within their society and would not need any more incentives or encouragement from outside intervention such as legitimise institutions as the individual now would see MIB as a societal norm and they would carry out that concept throughout their daily lives to conform and attain personal
