Many children and teens have been abused all around the world. Child abuse has been a major problem in society for as long as humans have been on the earth. Today about one in every five children will be the victim of some form of child abuse. There are different types of child abuse that occur during this generation. In order to effectively and efficiently work to solve this social problem, first child abuse must be defined along with the different types, signs and symptoms of abuse identified, and ways to overcome the abuse provided. Even with this definition child abuse can be broken into four categories: physical abuse, sexual abuse and exploitation, emotional abuse, and neglect. Physical abuse is a physical punishment differ.
