Globalisation Introduction Globalisation is considered one of the greatest milestones that have happened to the world. Before 25 years, no one imagines that s/he can buy a shirt or even a mobile cover from a different country and it will be shipped in few days. Although the term globalisation is founded in the nineteenth century, the application of this concept become obvious and widely use in the last 25 years (Dicken, 2007). The next section of this report defines globalisation term. The third section mentions some of the positive and negative impacts of globalisations. The most important factor is the internet, and technology devices, e.g. computers, televisions, ...etc. that facilitate and support the ways of interactions and communications between people and organizations. Furthermore, the diversity of transportation such as: airplanes, ships, ..etc. facilitate and speed up goods movement from country to another. Furthermore, globalisation has been defined by many researchers and organisations with regards to particular aspects of this word. However, most of the definitions focus on the interconnection occurred all over the world in many aspects of life and everyday the world become smaller and closer to everyone. Globalisation has many negative and positive impact on human life from different perspectives e.g. business, security, equality, health, financial issues. Day after day, businesses impacted increasingly by globalisation that influence several sides in this globe, such as countries, people, economy, politics, environments, ..etc. Consequently, businesses owners should be aware and develop their processes and business in order to survive in this rapidly changed
