Migration Many people in the world mix up immigration and migration. Immigration is the act of moving from your home country to another country; whereas, migration means moving from one place to another, it could be within your country or moving across the borders. According to Oxford Dictionaries: “Migration is the movement of people to a new area or country in order to find work or better living conditions.” From this definition, we see that the two main factors of migration are finding work and having a better standard of living. Concerning the advantages, migration can help the economic growth to be managed, it can also help a society to be more creative because migrants always come up with new ideas and more innovations. The role of the government implies granting of course everyone a freedom and space to practice their religion and customs. It is definitely the role of the government to make these people feeling welcome, feeling home. In addition to these aspects, governments are also responsible for granting the migrants their full sets of rights. Governments should consider them as citizens as the native habitants if they want to leverage from them their advantages and avoid potential dangers those can come up with. It is also the government’s responsibility to provide them a shelter and an employment.
