In the modern world, there is a lack of energy, especially in high-developed countries, where the demand on energy is high. Until these days, this problem was reduced by extracting the energy from burning fossil fuels and other exhaustible compounds, but the amount of these resources are limited in nature. Scientists believe that in the very near future, fossil fuels will run out, that’s why the majority of countries have begun to use renewable energy sources. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin said: “We should not just consume hydrocarbon fuel but use it to develop nuclear energy, hydro power and renewable energy sources”. I have chosen this topic because it is one of the most important worldwide problems. I am very interested in the …show more content…
In addition, NRDC refers to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Energy. The significant number of experts tested the credibility of the source and the majority of the reports, for example published by some popular medium, such as New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and U.S. World News Reports, are positive. Therefore, this source is reliable.
There are some weaknesses of the source. The source has low neutrality, because the author considers only advantages of using wind power. Therefore, the source has a weakness, but the positive sides are overwhelming.
Wind power industry expands very fast. Wind turbines are popular in many countries, so a lot of investment in this area. According to the Wind Energy Foundation, the power of wind is currently the fastest-growing source of renewable energy all over the world. That is why the wind industry today is one of the most important energy sources.
There is a vested interest in the argument, because only positive sides are mentioned. Evidences are authentic and relevant to the

With green energy supplying electricity to more than 14% of American homes, there is no doubt that it is a worthwhile endeavor.., Though highly contested, the Cape Wind Project, proposes a wind farm to be constructed off the coast of Cape Cod. The Harvard-educated Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an opponent of the project, expresses his doubts and criticisms of the project in his op-ed column printed in the New York Times, “An Ill Wind Off Cape Cod” which he composed when he first heard that the company Energy Management is trying to build a wind farm on Nantucket Sound. He utilizes a genuine tone in order to get his thoughts across. Francis Broadhurst, a proponent of the Cape Wind Project and distinguished writer, writes “Cape Wind Is Sound for
There is a quote by President Barack Obama saying, “To truly transform our economy, protect our security, and save our planet from the ravages of climate change, we need to ultimately make clean, renewable energy the profitable kind of energy,” (“151 Inspiring Environmental Quotes”). He believes as many due that nonrenewable resources are harmful to all aspects of life. The energy we use now is harmful to our planet, to humans, and to animals. Scientists are taking steps to making the world a better place. They found sources that replenished naturally in a short amount of time and are less destructive in all aspects.
Introduction In today’s world, most developing countries are in a race to build up the necessary infrastructure to scale up there operations and become the next global superpower. In this process, a lot of energy is consumed – be it for transportation, manufacturing or construction. This rapid growth of energy use seen over the past two decades have raised concerns for governments and energy-related organizations alike. Questions with regard to the supply, sustainability and exhaustion of energy sources abound, and while most developed countries have taken active steps to reduce consumption of scarce resources, the position of developing countries in this regard is still lacking.
Energy scientists who have helped shape major renewable power policies in the world have come forth saying that alien hybrids, in fact, live on Earth. Not only that but they are secretly implanting their DNA into the wombs of pregnant humans. UFO spaceship sightings are beginning to look a little tame after a remark like that. SCIENTISTS CLAIM HUMAN RACE HAS ALIEN INTERVENTION
Structure 1. Abstract and introduction: The energy crisis problem, Introduction of the topic (nuclear energy), thesis statement, why the problem is important, how I'm going to analyze and solve it in the next chapters. 2. Chapter 1: Historical background and functioning of nuclear energy: The history and how does nuclear energy work is critical to understand the uses and the dangers of this type of energy. 3.
Scientists have found that renewable energy is a path towards the future for a clean and safe environment. Throughout all the studies and findings, there is a continuing fret whether people should be able to use a traditional way of energy or renewable energy, solar power. Solar energy is seen to be effective since there has progressively been more places that are benefiting from solar usage; however there are also some who disagree. Solar energy sources are derived from natural sources and is implicated throughout our daily lives. From the lights in the streets to the computers we use at home.
Nowadays, we usually use the newer term called “wind turbine”.1 About four percent of the energy created in the United States comes from wind energy,2 and over 100 countries are now following in this trend and produce energy through the use of wind. This not only shows that a wind energy has great potential in the future, but also how popular it already is. It can be said that the more countries there are that using wind energy the better it is for our world. It is better because wind energy is a sustainable energy source.3 Looking back already at around 1000 AD wind power used and spread around northern Europe, starting with Holland.
Good morning chairperson, timekeeper, opposing team and audience. The topic of today 's debate is South Africa should stop using coal to generate electricity and start using alternative energy sources. We on the positive team agree with the definition given that South Africa should stop using coal to generate electricity because coal is a flammable black hard rock thats contains 65% carbon dioxide. This means that when burning this rock, it releases all the carbon dioxide into the environment. Using coal energy is bad because the impact of this fossil fuel on our health and our atmosphere is one dirty, expensive proposition.
Should we pursue alternate energy sources? I feel that we should pursue alternate energy sources. It would stop pollution and global warming from happening so sudden, as we have it currently in our generation. Using renewable energy means that we will never run out of the energy we need.
And there are many examples of successful, large-scale programs that increase growth or productivity and do so in a sustainable manner. China is one of the good examples to understand what green economy would be like in developed countries. Currently china invests more than any other country in renewable energy. Its total installed wind capacity grew 64% in 2010. This growth is driven by a national policy that sees clean energy as a major market in the near future, and one in which China wants to gain a competitive
Energy is simply the capacity to do work. Energy has become one of the necessities of our modern life. Energy can have many forms like heat, electrical, chemical, nuclear, light, etc. In the pre historic era fuel wood was the major sources of energy. Conventional energy sources are the ones that have been using so far to fulfill most f our daily energy requirements of cooking, lighting, transportation etc.
