In the story "The Necklace" is about a couple who is in the middle class stance, and the wife is very unhappy with this she wants more. Her husband comes back from work with a letter saying; you are invited to a big ball. the wife starts to freak out saying that she doesn 't have anything to were, the husband goes out and buys her a dress. She still wasn 't happy with this, she wanted jewels with it. So, she heads out and ask her friend for some, she finds this beautiful necklace. she wears it to the party, and she has a little to much fun. She ends up losing the necklace (great job right.
