World Englishes functioned as nationality markers distinct by phonology (dialects) refer to a language variety where a user’s regional or social background appears in his or her use of vocabulary and pronunciation of the English words. For instance, in the Filipino language there are also English words that spelled according to their pronunciation when used in Filipino. Examples of these words are telebisyon (television), oben (oven), and kamera (camera). There are countless others like traysikel (tricycle), dyip (jeep), and miting (meeting). English had become the language of politics, international administration, and law and was even associated with the liberal thinking of the Philippines.
Diversity of English will always refers back to the origin of the English based creole. English creole is creole language derived from the English language which English is the lexifier. For instance, most English creoles were formed in British colonies, following the great expansion of British naval military power across parts of the world in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries back then. For examples, proto-Pidgin English spoken along the West African Coast in the early of sixteenth century was the ancestral to the English creole of both West Africa and Americas.
Varieties of English today are great because English is spoken today on all five continents as a result of colonial expansion in the last four centuries. The colonial era is now definitely over already but its consequences are
