Year in the past starting from the beginning of policing society was mostly white and many years later now society and police have been through few dramatic changes, for example, political changes and the communities have turned into multicultural, diverse society. The responses of society and the police to these circumstances were quite different but in recent years the most dramatic change has been diversity within law enforcement has become a hot topic between officers and society within the communities. Also, within the past 10 to 20 years the demographics of society has changed with that law enforcement and society for the worst. Death is given a new light in “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak. Death is personal yet very distant. He wants to be friends and every character knows him on a personal level but they cannot communicate. The theme of death is show in two different ways throughout this story. Death the character is personified and is also the narrator, but actual death is show in the concept that all the character’s have of him.

One factor that has, in more recent years, left its imprint within policing is race. Race, brings up the subtopics of ethics, corruption, accountability, and public views on policing. There are many ironies that still exist in today’s U. S. military. As a member of the U.S. for the past twenty-one years I have been preview to different changes and issues that have been target to people of color. Blacks in the military are still seen as having lower socioeconomic status and prone to more punitive relationships with the criminal justice system weather inside the base or in the civilian environment. People of color in today’s military have less likelihood of achieving high officer ranking positions or being on high target leadership positions. As noted in our textbook, “today, Blacks fare better in the military, and the United States has 2.3 million Black veterans, more than any other minority group.
This memorial is an assortment of different events that helped lead into the Holocaust, and happened during the Holocaust. There were 11 million people killed in the Holocaust, 6 million Jews. During the Holocaust, many families were separated, so they used letters in envelopes to communicate. The barb wire around the outside of the poster is the walls in the ghettos that kept the Jews trapped inside. The pieces of glass inside the Star of David represent “Kristallnacht” the Night of Broken Glass on November 9th 1938 that lead into the Holocaust.

Racial profiling and police brutality has become a very common issue in the United States. This is a problematic issue and has become a very controversial topic. It has raised the question are law enforcement officers receiving the appropriate training to do their job. To become a police officer, you are not required to receive a college degree in Criminal Justice. The amount of training the police officers receive depends on the agency requirements.
Yesterday, August 4, 1944. Police officer, Mr.P, receive a phone call. The guy tell Mr.P, he hear there is sound of scream in a building. Mr.P realize that there must be some secret in the building. Then he brings some police and go to the building.
One case that relates to this flaw in the criminal justice system would be the Floyd v. City of New York. The date that this case was filed was on January 31, 2008 by David Floyd, David Ourlicht, Lalit Clarkson and Deon Dennis. This case challenged the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) practices of racial profiling and seeing whether or not the stop and frisk policy is unconstitutional. The clients represents thousands of black and Hispanic New Yorkers who have been stopped for no reason (according to the clients).
Who is the target? I hate when people complain about racial profiling in the police force. African Americans are not the only race that has conflict with the police. I know because I have been in a situation where I could have been easily racial profiled but I was not. About four weeks ago I was in a store and I heard the manager complaining to a white policeman that a man in a red hoodie was stealing.
