Do Video Games harm children? Video games is one of the most important activities of children daily lives. Also video games is considered as a main part of children daily life nowadays. Children spend most of their time playing video games. Video Games throughout time has been controversial. Whether it is harmful for children or it is useful for them. Some people think that Video games should be banned because they are harmful for children as they effect on children badly on their brains and on their life. Some People think that playing video games is nothing but wasting time. And not only wasting time, it is also about losing friends by spending so much time playing video games and less interesting to go out with friends and compete in real life activities, and they do not have the chance to meet new people by playing video games alone in homes hiding indoors. Such that when a child plays video games confined and alone it will lead to less interaction with other persons. And also playing video games increases aggressive behavior towards people, as a child that always plays in his home on his PC. While gaming, child’s attention goes to only the game, he does not care about other people around him and it will lead to having a negative attitude and having difficulty to communicate with people. Nonetheless, more than ever before, over 80% of games are multiplayer which means they can be played online with friends. Games such that strategy games that have millions of users with online communication ways, it helps people and children to interact together online while playing and having fun. And also communicating with new people helps children to learn new skills and new social experience with unknown people online or even friends online. Also online video games are useful for children in social life such that games teach children how to cooperate with others and team work advantages.
