Terrorism
Terrorism is the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. It can be described as the wrongful use of violence in order to scare a group of people because of their religion, beliefs or politics. The number of terrorist attacks was high during the early 2000’s due to the terrorist attacks by Al-Qaeda on the United States because of the war during the Middle East. In 14 different terrorist attacks in fourteen countries throughout the world, the combined deaths were over four thousand.

Why do they kill and hate the United States of America? The reasons why someone picks up a gun or blows themselves up is personal, born variously of grievance and frustration; religious piety or the desire for systemic socio-economic change; irredentist conviction or commitment to revolution. And yet, though there is no universal terrorist personality, nor has a single, broadly applicable profile ever been produced, there are things we do know. Terrorists are generally motivated by a profound sense of (albeit, misguided) altruism; deep feelings of self-defense; and, if they are religiously observant or devout, an abiding, even unswerving, commitment to their faith and the conviction that their violence is not only theologically justified, but divinely commanded (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/04/27/answers-to-why-people-become-terrorists.html). Some other reasons why people become terrorists is because America could have helped another county fight theirs, or didn’t help them when they needed help. There are a lot of different reasons as to why they do what they do, but nobody but them will really know the real reason. Growing up in this world around this time is going to be scary for children, teenagers and even adults. You shouldn’t have to fear to go to Walmart or to go shopping, but now you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times. Kids will never be able to run about Walmart or in a neighborhood like we were allowed to as a kid, I hope it all changes and terrorism
