This is why they secretly ask Friar Laurence to marry them in secret. If Friar didn’t marry them it would of not started the chain reactions of events that occur next. The play ends with three tragic deaths; those including being Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence is mostly to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet, because of he did things in secret, not communicating clearly, and not executing his plans. The first reason why Friar Laurence is to blame is because he married Romeo and Juliet.
The Nurse and Friar Laurence helped Romeo and Juliet to commit suicide. William Shakespeare writes the play. The title of the story is “The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet”. There were two feuding families who would fight all the time. There were two lovers from the families who thought they would love each there until the end of time but they both died over the feud and the feud end.
He is a symbol of destructive love because he ended his marriage and somebody 's life over jealousy “ sir twas not her husband 's presence only, called that spot of joy into the duchess cheek” (13-15). He has his wife killed because she is paying other men attention. His wife could have started it but the husband wanted control and respect and he couldn 't get it so he decided to kill her. The last Duchess was killed by her husband because she was flirting with other men and her husband didn 't like it “thats my last duchess painted on the wall, looking as if she were alive” (1-2). In this poem destructive love was showed by explaining why the wife was killed.
William Shakespeare 's play, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, is about two star-crossed lovers who end their lives because of their love for one another. Romeo is a Montagues and Juliet is a Capulet, therefore these two can 't be together because they come from rivalling families. At the end of the play, the Prince says: “Some shall be pardon’d , and some punished”(V.III.307). The people who should be punished for the death of Romeo and Juliet are: Lord Capulet and Friar Laurence, and the person who should be pardoned is the Nurse. Juliet’s parents, especially Lord Capulet, should be punished for the death of Romeo and Juliet.
The Death of Romeo and Juliet It is Friar Lawrence's fault because he gave Juliet the potion and married Romeo and Juliet. Also, he should just told Romeo that Juliet was going to take a potion that was going to make Juliet look dead so she could miss her wedding to Paris. It is Romeo’s fault because he fell in love with Juliet who is a Capulet and already is soon to be married to Paris. Romeo killed himself because he thought Juliet was dead causing Juliet to kill herself. It is Juliet’s fault because she loved Romeo back who is a Montague and left her “fiance” Paris.
There are a multitude of themes that can be identified in William Shakespeare’s iconic play , although one that trumps them all is two powerful emotions; love & hate. The story of Romeo & Juliet begins with Romeo, who has travelled to a party hoping to see his crush Rosaline but instead, he meets the girl Juliet and falls in love with her immediately. She loves him in turn, but when they realise that they are born from two families who hate each other, they decide to be private and marry in secret. Then, Juliet’s cousin Tybalt kills a friend of Romeo’s, which provokes Romeo to kill Tybalt, therefore banishing Romeo from the city. Juliet weeps for days, telling her parents she is weeping for Tybalt.
In order to try to see Romeo again, and avoid marrying County Paris, a match that her parents set up because they didn’t know about Romeo, Juliet decided to fake her death. She figured that if everybody thought she was dead, then she would be taken to a tomb, and Romeo could meet her there. Romeo was not notified of Juliet faking her death, so when he saw Juliet lying dead at her grave, he was extremely upset. Romeo said that “ I still will stay with thee, And never from this palace of dim night Depart again(Act 5 Scene 3 lines 115-117).” Romeo killed himself, because he was in too much of a rush to wait for Juliet to wake up. Had he actually stayed with Juliet, he would have seen that she was still alive.

Alfred tries to repeat what he did with Zélie as he did with Laïsa in the past, but Zélie fights him off. Alfred falls and hits his head causing blood to spur. Romeo 's personality of peace, loving, yet vengeful caused his own doom once he was exiled for killing Tybalt who killed Mercutio. Thus 'evidently causing pain for Juliet who lost both her lover and cousin. Juliet 's father arranging Juliet 's marriage to Paris made her mourning worse, already being married to Romeo yet being separated made her to reason with Friar Laurence. The plan that was supposed to reunite both Lovers indefinetly brought upon their own doom. Juliet herself drank the sleeping potion when Romeo was on his way earlier than anticipated, whom bought poison upon hearing of her "death" , planning to kill himslef on her tomb alongside her.
Benvolio says this to Romeo, because Tybalt has just been killed because he killed Mercutio. “Romeo, away, be gone! / The citizens are up and Tybalt slain.”(3.1.130-131) This supports that Tybalt is to blame because his death leads to a lot more events like the capulet finding out and being heartbroken, but Juliet is even more sad because Romeo has been punished to exile but her parents don’t know that they are married. So to try and cheer up their daughter they try and marry her to another man to get her spirits up. This supports that Tybalt is to blame because his death leads to a lot more events like the capulet finding out and being heartbroken, but Juliet is even more sad because Romeo has been punished to exile but her parents do not know that they are married.
Tybalt let his anger get the best of him, which caused him his life, Mercutio’s life, and Romeo’s banishment. After Romeo gets banished the climax rises because now it makes everything harder for him and Juliet. Whos gonna let their daughter marry someone who killed her cousin? Because of Romeo’s banishment Juliet is forced to fake her own death so she doesn’t have to marry Paris. But Romeo didn’t know it was fake so he Killed himself and Juliet ended up killing herself as well.
Juliet got upset and wanted to die without Romeo. She went to the Friar to see if he could help her because, her father wants her to marry Paris when she’s already married though no one knows. He thought of the idea of of making her seem dead. “If, rather than to marry County Paris, Thou hast the strength of will to slay thyself, Then is it likely thou wilt undertake A thing like death to chide away this shame, That copest with death himself to scape from it; And, if thou darest, I’ll give thee remedy.” (Act 4 Scene 1) She did it and everyone thought she was dead. The Friar sent a letter to Romeo to tell him about the scam.
