Based on United World Trade Organization, domestic tourism can be said as it involves trips made by local residents within their own countries (UNWTO, 1950). This has make the Tourism Malaysia actively works towards global markets. Until today, Tourism Malaysia has 32 overseas offices and 9 Marketing Representatives in various parts of the world. In addition, there are 13 state Offices throughout Malaysia. Tourism Malaysia also works to assist and facilitate tourist needs and wants, there are 15 Tourist Information Centers around the country. The objective of Tourism Malaysia is to increase arrivals of foreign tourist to come Malaysia. It is the result of phenomena and relationships arising from the interaction among tourists, business suppliers, host governments, host communities, origin governments, universities, community colleges, and non-governmental organizations throughout the process of attracting, transporting, hosting and managing of the tourists and other visitors (Weave and Lawton, 2002). A tourist is a person who temporarily travels outside of his or her usual environment. Domestic tourist is one whose itinerary is confined to their usual country of residence, and an international tourist is a person who travels beyond their usual country of residence. According to UNTWO (1994), a domestic tourist is defined as "any person on a trip within his or her own country of residence irrespective of the purpose of travel and means of transport used”. The commonly used definition was a guideline from WTO (Chadwick, 1994), which defines a domestic touristas any person or resident of a country visiting his own country or traveling to a place within his country other than his usual residence for a period of not less than 24 hours or one night but less than one year for the purposes of recreation, leisure, holidays, sport, business, meetings, conventions, study, visiting friends or
