The story uses such a real problem filled with characters we can not relate to and know nothing about, and uses figurative language and other literary devices to hide the truth of the story. It is up to the reader to interpret the story how they understand it. The plot of this story is very important to this story, and what is missing from the plot.

The plot was perhaps the most difficult part of the play to understand. I had an issue with the ending because Quixote appeared like a dues ex machina and left with Kilroy. After reading the play, I was left questioning what I had read. Similar to Waiting for Godot, I was left with more questions than answers after reading the play. Something that I noticed is that intertextuality is heavily present in the play.

Motifs of metadrama in Hamlet can be described as revenge, identity, and self-reflection, because the devastating events in his life.

A counterclaim that is encountered with this subject may be describing how Shakespeare 's work is outdated and how the stories were just stories. These points are not important to the argument because they are not valid against the claims of how Shakespeare can give the present day a view of the past, and how he still affects many people today. In conclusion, I believe that reading Shakespeare today should still be allowed in education.
