1. Finding dory, star of the film Dory last 1 minute and 42 sec.
2. In the trailer finding Dory it displays how Dory is trying to find her family throughout the film. Dory once new her family and lived with them but one day was taken away. In the trailer Dory keeps saying that she starting to remeber things, with is weird becasue Dory never rembers anything. The trailer trys to tell a story but does no give the story away. From the looks of it, I feel that I know what finding Dory will be about but it did not tell me the whole story so I feel it did what is was suppose to do.

This essay will examine the functions and effects of cinematography in Steven Spielberg’s Jaws Jaws follows the police chief Brody, along with scientist Hooper and shark hunter Quint, in their attempt to protect the town of Amity against a Great White shark that is terrorising beachgoers. It was adapted from Peter Benchley’s 1974 novel of the same name. Following its release in summer 1975, Jaws became the highest grossing film As Jaws was one of the first motion pictures to be shot partially on water, the production came across issues with the prosthetic shark, and as a result, Spielberg decided to only suggest the appearance of the shark as often as possible, as opposed to showing the prosthetic body during attacks. This sparing use of the prosthetic, and primary focus instead on creating suspense and dread without the shark visibly present, proved to be an inspired decision, as Jaws is considered a pioneering achievement in the horror genre.

Through the restructuring of the opening text, cutting scenes from the first act, and introducing Luke later in the film helped simplify the motion picture so that a wider audience could enjoy the film without the worry of becoming confused. Also, the revision of the scene where Obi-Wan and Luke viewed Leia’s message and the attack on the Death Star scene helped create and amplify certain emotions for each segment. The former revision removed the feeling of insensitivity and the latter introduced the feeling of desperation and tension in the climactic finale. Editor Joey Scoma said, “It was only due to their laborious editorial process that Star Wars snatched victory from the jaws of defeat … As they say, a film is written three times: first in the screenplay; next in production; and finally, in the edit.” When Star Wars: A New Hope was written for a third time “in the edit,” it transformed the movie from possibly being regarded as a cult classic to becoming a common household brand and changed the movie industry
The movie begins with a huge accident in the middle of nowhere on an oil rig, where Dawson nearly died but survived. Then he realized that there is a purpose for his life which is an example of foreshadowing for what is to come for the unexpected ending. Evidently, it all leads up to the point that these two soulmates were destined to be together. Then the film goes into the death of Tuck, which also displays the notion of “destiny ” because it brings Amanda and Dawson back together after 20 years of being apart. The various plots help the storyline and demonstrate, once again, the notion of destiny.
