Do you prefer driving in the winter or the summer? Driving a car in the winter can be dangerous verses in the summer. Although the roads are the same, the weather has a major impact on driving conditions.
When the summer sun begins to shine it can cause a possible car wreck if your eyes are not guarded using sun glasses. The summer sun can also have an impact on your skin while driving if you don’t take precaution. Driving during the tornado months in the summer can be very dangerous. It is always advised to avoid driving when a tornado is announced. Driving away from the area is the safest thing to do, as there might be debris in the wind or roads.
Driving during the winter is more hazardous and being a cautious driver is needed. When temperatures drop below freezing and it is raining or snowing it is best to avoid bridges and overpasses as it can cause icy roads. During this time it is also advised to be cautious of other drivers as they might spin out and hit you. Going slowly and leaving distance between you and other cars is best.

Middle school start later in the day because kids will not be late for school or class. With school starting later in the day kids will increase grades on their report card. Things are a little different when you are driving a motorcycle, bike, school bus, or a truck carrying hazardous materials. With a motorcycle or a bike approach the crossing with caution, and do not swerve to get a better angle for crossing. For a school bus, you must stop at every crossing. Look both ways and when it is all clear you may pass. With a truck carrying hazardous materials, slow down safely and go only when it is completely clear.
Especially if it’s nighttime and you're passing a railroad crossing, that’s actually the time of day where you need to be more precaution since you might not see the trains lights or see the train if you not close enough. Even if you don’t live in a city where there isn’t railroad crossing, it’s still smart to know how to cross them safely because sometime in your life you’ll some traveling somewhere. And when crossing don’t try to shift gears to go faster, things like that because your car could stall and end up being stuck. If that situation were to ever happen then you must get out of the car as fast as you can just in case that there’s a train nearby. It’s better to still be alive and buy a new car rather than to die with your car.
