Abstract Terrorism classifies as a major threat to the peace of communities in the 21st century. This is owed to the devastating psychological effects that it has on the people. The global community is united in information sharing and research on ways through which the vice can be contained. One of the major reasons for escalated terrorist activities confides in its close relationship to the drug business. This research paper explored the connections between terrorism and drug business. The study design was a qualitative and quantitative analysis that sought to give credence to the subject matter. Additionally, extensive and expansive literature reviews were considered to back up the research paper. Finally, this study involved 100 participants from Department of Homeland security.
