Congress is the most powerful branch of the U.S. government. With so much power I think it’s obvious that there will be some dysfunction. The main reason for this dysfunction is that we have two major parties with such strong opinions that cause conflict to arise. However, this does not change my overall view of congress. I do think congress is functional because it works effectively to introduce bills that will be a benefit to the American people. Although, it takes time for Congress to pass a bill I think that is the best option. During this time congress is analyzing, altering and improving the bill.
