It is thus challenging to capture interactions between IT and the business environment and consequently provide a basis from which to evaluate the value of e-business to supply chain management. Researchers need an understanding of the phenomenon for theory building and theory testing; practitioners require it for improving organizational processes. This study aims to improve our understanding of ways of capturing the potential of e-business in supply chain management. This licentiate thesis has been made in connection with two research projects by the National
Technology Agency of Finland (TEKES) to Helsinki University of Technology. The aim of the first project, KARKeLO-project (2001), was to propose a research agenda for e-business
logistics.

business in supply chain management. Secondly, we discover different ways how companies can benefit from e-business in their supply chain operations.
We approach the research problem over the period from 2000 to 2004. During this time, ebusiness development moves from the so-called hype-stage during the late 1990’s and early
2000’s, when a lot of undelivered promises were made to supply chain management, to the era when there are already many e-business implementations that have had an impact on various supply chain operations such as procurement, inventory management and order management, as well as on the overall competitiveness of the companies implementing various e-business applications. This development shapes the scope of this study.
During the hype-stage, many companies were struggling with the question of how e-business impacts the supply chain and there was a lot of uncertainty as to where the development

Before concluding the literature review, we also discuss issues that make it challenging to research and understand the phenomenon we are interested in.
After the literature review, we move to the empirical part of the study. First, we introduce the research questions and then provide a brief summary of the publications included in this study and respective methodologies used in individual publications. Then we summarize the key findings of this study and reflect them in the body of knowledge covered in the literature review when applicable. We also present the identified ways in which companies can benefit from e-business in their supply chain operations.
In Chapter four we discuss and evaluate the limitations of the study. Here we also deal with scientific and practical contributions of the study and offer suggestions for future research.

Introduction Chapter three will provide the reader with research methods and procedures that were used to conduct this thesis. The research methods and procedure section will be described in details how the student researcher obtained the data. Research Methods and Procedures The significant aspect of the research process consists of various peer reviewed research journals, published books and web based news articles. All of the sources gathered to compose this thesis were within the last five years, on what prior researchers have done regarding recruiting Asian-American police applicants.
Discuss the methodological and ethical issues which are apparent in this study. How have the findings impacted the psychological field? One methodological issue with the Bain et al refrigerator study is that type of experiment used. Having used a laboratory experiment, all variables were under strict control and this does not reflect the true nature of the situation the children were placed in. Children trapped inside a refrigerator would not escape by pressing a panel on the floor, thus the experiment has features which do not reflect an accurate representation of a real life situation (Bain et al, 1958).
Introduction The power and utility of the internet is common knowledge to literate people. It has fundamentally shifted the economic land scape to such an extent that its era is dubbed the new economy (Turban et e, 2011l). At the heart of this new economy is e-commerce. E-commerce is simply doing business online. Amongst the companies at the pinnacle of the new economy and more specifically e-commerce is Amazon.

Here 70% of our business is done with military so in military terms logistics means the organization of moving, housing and supplying troops and equipment’s. No doubt logistics is an important activity as there is a process for doing a work and there must be proper coordination and cooperation. Lack of proper coordination means, high chance of getting errors in work. This case analysis focus on providing the recommendations to the top management to make sure their activities are going smoothly in the market and they can be ahead from their competitors in this competitive world. In easy words, the organization wants to improve their delivery to their customers.

This new group of consumers is increasing in number over the years as on-line shopping become a trend and manifestation of modern life style. Supply Chain Management (SCM) department encounters a number of different stakeholders. Many different working relationships take place within each individual work on, from colleagues to clients, stakeholders, and suppliers. The internal supply chain that delivers the service is complicated and requires the co-ordination and co-operation of individuals and teams who have different skills and priorities. Hence, understanding stakeholder needs and working effectively with them is critical to the success of the procurement team. When we talk about architecture as a professional activity we do recognise the contribution of different people in the designing process and successful completion of a project. But out of all the relationships among the professionals, a successful Architect –Client relationship plays the most crucial part. Assuming that this relationship can be structured, the researchers have been developing models for a systematic strategy to address the problems and gaps in management of this relationship. In this research, I want to acknowledge the psychological and sociological perspective of this relationship and enhance our understanding of the problems of this relationship.
Nowadays technology can play a major role and only few companies are trying to change and introduce new updated software in their day-to-day business such as e-processing of shipping documents and data entry. WSS is so technologically advanced in this field, that all its data processing is being done electronically and customers are able to access all information relevant to shipment through dedicated space available on company
