My favorite feeling is being content, which is hard to express. So, one of my biggest struggles in leading the team was showing my emotions in a way that encouraged all of us to improve. Through this experience I learned the importance of having a good attitude even when underneath you are frustrated. The power of positivity is something I still struggle with, but I have been able to more fully apply it to my life since realizing
I think it is a good thing for someone to face problems that cause that person to have to struggle a little bit. It builds character and it can teach people a lot about themselves. One thing I have learned about myself within the past couple of years, is that I do not challenge myself enough. This narrative is about me overcoming my inner battle to push myself out of my comfort zone.
It is important to remember that other’s can see thing we cannot, especially children as they have a perspective we may have forgotten through the years. Now it is important to differentiate critique and the common misuse of criticism; though these are synonymous, they seem to be misused. Criticism, in today’s world, is seen as judgement, whereas critique is a constructive analysis. We can grow through actively accepting constructive critique and criticism (the correct use of the word), because the reality is that we do not understand just how valuable it truly is. Elon Musk, an innovator and a proactive citizen of our society, said “A well thought out critique of whatever you’re doing is as valuable as gold.”
Another way I am a successful advanced student is by coming to school with a positive attitude and ready to work. All of this shows good time management abilities because I don’t let the rest of my life interfere with my
have passion for the work I do and go 110% in learning and doing my job correctly. I 've loved the previous jobs I had as staff, and have been told I do great work as a helper. It 's much easier to do a good job if you love your job. I 'm a very happy person in general, and can always brighten the mood of chat and calls. In my head, being a "helper" doesn 't make you more important than other people, such as new members.
As a student, while reading this article I found many of the concepts useful but especially familiar. Throughout my years of public education, the older I became, the more I was able to recognize certain techniques and strategies that teachers used. For example, the article mentions to compliment good choices within earshot of peers and parents, keeping it simple and authentic to boost their self-esteem and make them feel comfortable and safe. This is just one of the many suggestions in the article that reminded me of my childhood. Anytime a teacher gave me a compliment, it first made me feel good about myself and distracted me of any fears I may of had.
I was graced with a fantastic group of teammates, which furthered my interest in the course. Having the support of my groupmates made it easy to accomplish my academic, personal, and professional goals. My progress was smooth also due to having instructors that I felt comfortable engaging with questions. Overall this class facilitated my growth like clockwork. If I could give one piece of advice to future students, it would be to dive in head first.
I am grateful for having had the opportunity to learn and grow at Keystone in the addictions field. The staff has been patient and helpful as I have gained much knowledge as I worked through my master’s program. There are not words to express the gratitude I have for everyone and all that they have done for me this last year, not only, professionally, but also, personally through my journey at Keystone.
Additionally, my career has taught me to be more lively from acting out character and the work environment in general. As a ponder my work experiences, my manager comes up to me and states, “You have been doing a great job, make sure to keep up the work!” I could not be more overjoyed. I cannot wait for work
The BSA was an experience that transformed me and I strive to encourage any and all to be a part of it. The second experience that has impacted my life is simply my drive to get good grades. In the past I 've always kept good grades in my classes and finished things neatly and on time. Over the years I have pursued and actively tried
