In conclusion, I believe I would be a great fit for this program and will benefit now and later from it. I will use these college credits to get accepted into the college of my dreams after high school to pursue a career I will love for the rest of my life, I am beyond motivated to be the first person in my family to graduate from college and get into the field of my dreams. I aspire to be the greatness my parents and I know I can
In the short term, I would like to complete my classes and become an LAPC. I plan on continuing to work in mental health for either a private or public mental health agency and earning my LPC. I would like to continue to work with the current population that I am involved with which are families who are economically underserved . I am applying to this specific program because it has come highly recommended to me by multiple clinicians that I have worked with as a program that would appropriately prepare me for the work I want to do. There are a multitude of reasons why I am attracted to this program including the evening classes, that it focuses specifically on community counseling, and that it has come highly recommended.
Through this program I will get to know more of my peers that I might not always interact with. I can gain a better a knowledge of who they are. I will best serve as a member
Twelve percent of high school graduates are unable to attend college due to their own personal reasons(Rath). Even if the do want to go to college they cannot because they can’t afford to do so, so instead they try to take on low paying jobs. By making community college free not only does it help reduce student loans, it can greatly improve the unemployment rate, improve education. Not only that but it also can bring people out of poverty and even give rise to an educated workforce(Rehm). With free community college many American citizens can get the education they need to improve their lives as well as the economy(Miller). If college education does not become free then America will be heading towards a downward spiral because only a select
It has taken many years for people in society to break out of the norms and expectations of how to grow up and live in the world. A huge factor in this “revolution”: attending college. Whether it is taking a gap year to discover the world and the waiting opportunities, or simply running with it all after high school to work, attending college isn’t considered a given anymore. Now not all cases are the same for every person, therefore they can only decide what is the best path for them after high school. Still, the benefits of a being a college graduate will never be diminished. Because in fact, that “gap year” could turn into two or even three years of sitting and deciding what to do in life. Or jumping right into working right after high school, leads to realizing there aren’t many jobs to provide and support oneself. Although many may continue to believe that attending college right after high school isn’t the right path for success, taking advantage of gaining a college education right away is essential for success in life because college broadens job and career opportunities and provides necessary experiences to thrive in the real world after school.
It is never wise to take out a loan, even if it is considered by society to be a “good loan”. These “good loans” are student loans and they are anything but good. There are two extremely important things to know about student loans. They will stick with you for the next decade or more of your life and they end up multiplying in cost even as you attempt to pay them off. These two things will affect the rest of your life and not for the better. The average student loan for a bachelor degree takes 21 years to pay off even though you are suppose to pay it off in 10 years according to the arrangement of most student loan contracts. This means in return for gaining four years of education you spend two decades of your life stressing and worrying about

When I graduated from high school college did not cross my mind. I wanted to join the Marine Corps and serve my country for as long as I could because both my grandfather and uncle we’re both in the Navy. But since complications happened I ended up in Massasoit. I chose Massasoit because it has one of the best transferring programs and has the major I wanted to get into which is Early Childhood Education. When I applied for Massasoit I did not know much about community college, I just thought that it’ll be similar to highschool which is not at all I what I learned. Since most of my friends are going to community colleges I thought that it would be better for me to go to community college instead of University. Seeing that most students go
In the program, you have to write articles and every time I write one, I can see that I am improving and using larger vocabulary. Also, if I had been in the program longer, I would have been more prepared to run for New York State Dairy Princess. I did not have as much knowledge as the girls who have been in the program longer than me. If I had a do-over, I would have had more knowledge and would have known how the program would change me
However, I had always told myself that I would someday re enroll, earn a degree, and graduate so that I could be a prime example for my four children as to what never giving up looks like. I believe this college would enable me to earn a degree without taking on a heavy financial burden. In addition, I appreciate the flexible structure of programs which would fit into my current lifestyle as a busy mom. And, I definitely love the maturer yet diverse environment the school has to offer.
a similar group in 2010, found more college correlated with less dementia” (Belluck). This shows that college can have a beneficial impact for mental health. By going to college, a person is less likely to live an unhealthy lifestyle, and may keep their cognitive health for longer.
As part of this program I would be able to get more involved in my new community

It has impacted me in a great way in skills such as optimism, confidence, creativity, commitment in each assignment, among other benefits. I have used the activities I have learned in the program in other extracurricular activities such as after-school clubs. In the different outreach with the freshmen. The roles that I felt most comforted with is ... On the other hand, there are others that have cost me more.
Therefore, this program can be a great choice for individuals who are busy all of the
