This year the festival will feature some spectacular carnival rides, great live entertainment, 5K and 10K races, a car show, a parade, and KidFest (which includes a bicycle decorating contest, pie eating contest, water balloon toss and more, for kids 14 and under.) There’s even a Peach Queen and royal Peach Court—this year, those roles are filled by Mianna Gonczar and Shelby VanOphem. And, of course, there are always delicious peaches and peach products at various stands all over the festival. I spent two days in Savannah, Georgia this summer—the peach capital of the USA—and I still believe that Romeo’s peaches could compete with Georgia’s any day.

Some of the animals you’d be seeing within its borders are cassowaries, kangaroos, dingos, crocodiles, emus and other species of birds. In here, you’d be exposed not only to Broome’s natural treasure but to the warm welcome and attention to be given to you by its locals. Have a quaint lunch by the beach or drink the afternoon away through the nearby establishments which are lucky to have a place near this wondrous tourist

When I was about eight my whole family went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the fourth of July. While we were there, we toured the town, describing the town would be like describing a scene from an old western movie. There is an assortment of different shops all made of a similar design. The whole town overall has a rustic vibe, you can
It’s August again and that means that it’s just about time for the Minnesota State Fair. This time of the year we like to take a break from food safety certification MN and HACCP testing to take in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this once a year event. From ogling prize winning agricultural feats, to taking in concerts, to finding the most audacious, rule-breaking, deep-fried items on a stick, there is something for everyone. This week, we’d like to share exactly why we think our fair is the best the country has to offer. Every state says that their state fair is bigger and better than the rest, but us Minnesotans believe otherwise.
They are also noted for their Old South Ambiance, their museum and historic spots along with nature walks, festivals and events. Most of all, they are well known for their water sports throughout the year. An example of a place where kids and adults can enjoy their day is at Babcock Wilderness Adventures. “ It will be celebrated… with pomp and parade… bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other,” once said the famous John Adams. Most people could probably tell what John Adams is talking about, the great 4th of July. Most years before this year I would stay at my house and shoot off fireworks with my family and a few of my friends. This year my friends and I decided to go to other parts of our neighborhood. We were going through peoples back yards and past their driveways and then into an area by a small creek.

It had just got done raining, but the people were still up and alive. I was getting drunk and high for the first time in public. I felt like this was a trip well paid off, and no jive turkey sucker couldn’t stop me from enjoying myself. Besides, I had the realization of going back to school later, so I enjoyed it. We partied all night, but Jimi wasn’t coming on until morning due to rain, and we had to leave.
