Another weakness is different payer requirements for certain procedures and treatment. There are various items that can prevent the clinic from obtaining revenue for its services such as not having a prior authorization, the payer deems the treatment wasn’t necessary or the payer implemented a new requirement for this treatment that was not met. These are constantly changing and it is difficult for healthcare organizations to keep up with these ever-changing policies. B3. Globally, scientists are turning to stem cell research as the most promising step to curing many of the harshest diseases and conditions including cancer, Alzheimer’s, stroke, paralysis and many more. Stem cells are useable as a replacement for damaged cells because of their self renewing properties. Their form allows them to act as other types of cells and regenerate as a substitute for the affected cells or as a way of testing new medications. Stroke related disabilities alone account for more than 1.2 million people and millions more are impacted by other cell related disabilities making stem cell research an essential pursuit in order to make strides in medicine (Cunningham 368).
Moreover, I held the health education for them and helped them learn to use the blood sugar monitor correctly. I also presented several examples to explain the seriousness of exacerbating diabetes. A considerable number of people believe that the diagnosis and treatment of health problems are beneficial to improving and maintaining overall health, but too much dismay, there are also potential harmful affects with this type of medical practice (Martin, 2017). The practice of overtreatment and overdiagnosis is a prominent issue within the healthcare system. One of the main reasons that healthcare providers and their patients feel the need to treat and diagnose each health problem, big or small is that society has a compulsion to cure. Healthcare providers conform to the idea of compulsion to cure because amongst other reasons, they fear litigation and disappointing patients if they choose against conducting tests in order to diagnose and

The groups hypothesis was partially supported by this experiment. For one, most worms did not survive. By the end of the experiment 5 worms remained although the group started out with 27.
Hi Olayinka, I like that you mentioned that “prevention is better than cure”. Recent statistics reveal that too many people in this country do not have access to preventative health care required to remain healthy and avoid or delay the onset of diseases. A healthy life style helps us to leave a healthy life, reduce the cost of health care, as well as helping to prevent chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The key to success for wellness and prevention programs is to make the resources for achieving a healthy lifestyle affordable and accessible to the general population. (Rose, M. 2014).

Once appraised by Silicon Valley Press tech, Theranos, a biotechnology company, is losing its name value as days go by. Elizabeth Holmes, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Theranos, was known for her unique story of how Theranos has started. Upon start of the company, Holmes claimed that the Theranos’ technology is new, but different from what is out in the market. New and innovative, this company’s propaganda attracted many people’s attentions. From the start, Holmes’ plan was to provide higher accuracy tests, multiple tests from a drop of blood, and, in bigger picture, more access to its technology to the public.
In the “Biopharm- Seltek Negotiation”, we played the role of the buyer – Biopharm, a profitable U.S.- based pharmaceutical company.
