Our project is about the question “Wil eco technology recover the damage done to the environment and improve people’s life?” We think the answer to that question is yes, with a bit of awareness and help from human. We want to prove that with using eco technology and raising people’s awareness of the importance of protecting the environment will help undo the damage done to the environment and improve life and health.
Back in those days when technology started to take over, it caused bad effect on the environment. Nowadays, as technology developing and the enviroment are being destroy, scientists all around the world are looking for technology that is friendly to the environment, it is called ecotechnology.
Globaly, ecotechnology is developing

Because of the pollution, human has to suffer from many disease like: skin cancer, allergy, heart attack, lung cancer, mutation,….. The reasons that cause pollution are surprisingly come from our technology like the smoke from factoies, cars, motorbikes,… That’s why in order to save our planet, all the countries in the world must cooperate to have a strong method which is the key to solve the problem: green technology. Vietnam is one of the countries in the world that are trying to improve the green technology to save our atmosphere. I will demonstrate by giving you an example in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh authorities are encouraging enterprises to boost research and development activities, as well as to adopt modern environment-friendly production models to lay the foundation for green growth in the near future. In Vietnam, green growth strategy is understood as one for development based on changes to the growth model and economic restructuring of local businesses. With the employment of green growth strategies, Vietnamese firms can take advantage of their comparative edge to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the economy through the study and application of advanced technology and the development of modern infrastructure. Those new development models will help local firms efficiently use natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions during production, adapt to climate change, contribute to hunger eradication, poverty reduction and boost economic growth in a more sustainable way. The city supports the trend to apply environmental safeguards in trade so as to limit pollution and reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions for some sectors. City authorities are now encouraging companies to research and invest more in innovation and the application of modern environment-friendly technologies to
Robin Wall-Kimmerer makes a compelling argument, her book “Braiding Sweetgrass” that technology created by humans poses a significant risk to the human world, including the natural environment and all living beings. She emphasizes the importance of indigenous ecological knowledge and understanding the interconnectedness and interdependence of all living things. Moreover, Kimmerer considers the role that artificial intelligence and technology play in the shared future of humans and the more than human world on Earth. Technology is often designed and used to benefit human interests and profits, rather than promoting a harmonious relationship between humans and the natural world. The current relationship between humans and the environment is
This day and age, change has become the new norm that shapes and develops the business world and global economy. A rising topic that has shepherd the direction of innovation is climate change and environmental awareness. The sustainability of a company encompasses their ability to manage social and environmental risks, obligations and opportunities. This concept is important for managers and to understand and implement because of government regulations and potential cost efficiency. In Oregon, there are numerous companies that express the importance of being sustainable.
How can one become one with their environment? Connection with one 's environment was always easier to maintain until the industrial age came into existence. With the birth of modern society came the birth of social responsibilities and burdens unknown to man. In “The Way to Rainy Mountain” and “A place for literature,” Barry Lopez and N. Momaday Momaday explain the impact of lands on its occupants. In “the white heron,” Sarah Jewett explains the feeling of reconnection with one’s inner voice though nature.
In fact, we all need to work together in order to create a sustainable environment. Chapter 1 also describes the different technologies we have today to inform us where are we exactly located at
1.1 Background of the Research Technology has always develop for a long time. Until today, it is still develops at a stunning pace. As a matter of fact, technology has touched every aspect of life; from the way we move by using a horse changed into automobile, from walking on the land to flying in the air and reach farther distance. The products we are using in our daily life also produced by the technology. Under those circumstances, including the economy, politics, and also society, are affected by technology.
The writer, during this stage, develops a standard for his argument by using a major part of today’s society, technology. The author is not necessarily against technology, but he suggests that an increase in technology to create nature and not
Technology and Its Control Over Society In many of his pieces, writings, and novels, Ray Bradbury reflects the immense reliance and close connection that humanity has with technology. He also depicts the dangerous effects that could come from having this relationship, such as a loss of independency and self-control over one’s mind and actions. If humanity were to continue to allow technology to have this disastrous power and control, society’s downfall is certain and destined to come.
I. Background and Company Analysis ________________________________________ Patagonia, founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1971, is an outdoor apparel company that has successfully integrated green elements into almost every business activity, from R&D to human resources management, to reduce harm to the environment. These elements firmly align with the corporate objectives of enhancing product and service quality, reducing environmental impacts and having constant innovation. These practices not only enable Patagonia to create values to its customers, but also help the company differentiate itself as innovative leader in the green segment of the industry. A. Orsato’s Framework - Competitive Environmental Strategies Patagonia should be considered
Technology can be defined as “the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment”. (n.d.) Therefore, when we speak of technological evolution we can say that it is an “innovation and technology related hypothesis that describes the fundamental change of society through technical development”. Different theorists have their own perspective on the evolution of technology but, although each of their views differs from another, they shared certain common features, mechanism, and incidence in technology. Some theorists have developed distinct approaches to understanding the nature of the technological process and the relationship between technological development and the social world.
Companies should think about less polluting products and production processes for
Firms which are managing environmental affairs their relations with consumers, vendors, regulators, and other industries are increasing and improving their sustainability to the success. The environmental strategies include developing green business, divesting environmental-damaging business, Struggle to become low cost producer, through energy conservation and waste minimization, and implementing different strategy through green product features. The firms can include environmental representative in their board of directors, announce bonus for the favorable environmental results, establish environmental oriented objectives, include environmental values in mission statements, and provide environmental training program for firm managers and employees. WHY FIRMS SHOULD “BE GREEN”
Pollution may be a threat, but it can be solved in our
Nowadays, the world has changed. The world now are modern because of the power of technology. People may not have a good life without this technology because of people nowadays are dependence on technology mostly. As we know, the technology are created to make our life more better, easier and comfortable. We admitted that the technology are giving us a lot of benefits, but we has also realise that the technology can give bad effect for us.
They imply that life would be hard to live with the lack of new technologies, however, it becomes ironic because life is already at risk due to technology. Making technological advances and preserving the environment and human health will not be possible because of the pollution resulting of the waste output, the depletion of natural resources and the global warming resulting of the emission of carbon dioxide. To begin with, the waste output of the new technologies pollutes the lands, the water and the air of the earth. An average computer screen contains up to 8 pounds of lead and 2 to 5 percent of the trash in American landfills belong to electronics waste.
Green growth and green economy have been subject to various definitions but those currently being used by international organizations have a lot in common. Greening growth (GG) and moving towards a greener economy (GE) is complex and multidimensional. Green growth is a matter of both economic policy and sustainable development policy. It tackles two key imperatives together: the continued inclusive economic growth needed by developing countries to reduce poverty and improve wellbeing; and improved environmental management needed to tackle resource scarcities and climate change. The concept of green economy rests on the economy, the environment and the social pillars of sustainable development.
