In fact, education is about in-parting knowledge based on one’s belief, truth and justification with the purpose of surviving in this changing world. Highly educated people are well recognized and given high reputation in the society. Hence, teaching is a process of sharing information between the teacher and students in a positive, caring, changing and stress free environment where new knowledge must be constructed and tested through student – teacher interaction using different strategies so that children could master knowledge and skills of desired fields including values, ethics, and other social knowledge. To fulfil this purpose, teachers should be active, forward thinking, energetic, knowledgeable, sincere and punctual for changing one’s truth, belief and justification. To satisfy these educational needs, learning should be a fun mechanism for students in which they enjoy by responding, interacting, socializing, inventing, sharing, discovering and deciding about knowledge, skills, values, ethics and discipline by expressing a permanent change in behaviour. As learning is defined as a permanent change in behaviour, it is my personal interest to consider teaching as a personal challenge in which students are diverted to a more progressive learning environment where they make their own judgment based on what they experience with exposure to real life like activities. With this as my personal interest in the field, it is a sensation for me to focus on the whole child considering learning as a whole day mechanism which I consider as every step, and breath, whether it is in the class or at home, they take favours a kind of learning including knowledge, ethics morality and

Education is the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life. In each essay, all three authors ward against the dangers with the education system of their era. Whether it be diversity, segregation or the goals of the system itself the authors believe changes need to be made, as education systems form the future leaders of our society. Through their text the authors believe they must solve the faults within the education systems, to conform society to what they believe is morally and ethically correct.
When someone says the name Condoleezza Rice the first thing that comes to most minds is the first black woman to serve as Secretary of State. Serving under both the George Bush and George W. Bush administrations she was once the presidential hopeful for the republican party. Condoleezza Rice may have an extensive political resume but she has always made education a clear priority to her. Growing up in Birmingham Alabama during the civil rights movement she experienced firsthand the effects of segregation but still became the success she is today. At the age of 19 she graduated from the University of Denver with her Bachelors in political science and then went on to earn her masters from there Notre Dame University and in 1981 received her
My educational goal is to earn a degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside, in hopes of getting a job inside the laboratory department at Kaiser. Based on labs that I have already done at the University, I found that I enjoy working in a similar setting. I would love to have the opportunity to shadow a connoisseur in a similar work environment, as it would be a valuable learning experience. I come from a low-income family in Oakland, California. The economic barrier that has restricted my family has prevented us from moving out from where we live.
Education is interconnected with every single strand of the economy, laws, jobs, research… I believe that education is not only one of the most important factors in a development of a country but instead, it has a greater significance than other factors. First and Foremost, Education is the foundation of our society. It gives us the power of knowledge and the power of assisting others. Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapons which you can use to change the world – The Former
Their pupils will be able to know their strengths and weaknesses and know how to improve themselves right from the primary level (Civics and Moral Education Syllabus, 2007 (Character and Citizenship Education Primary Syllabus, 2014)). Through this knowledge, the teacher can presume how children of a particular age group will act, what they are capable of doing and what they are not likely able to do. Consequently, the teacher can devise activities rather confidently by taking all these aspects into consideration. At this stage, the teacher can take advantage of the windows of opportunity for the child’s growth. In other words, the teacher benefits from the sensitive period of a child’s development to provide him with enriching activities; the best period for the child to learn and develop further. In addition, what the children learn should be relevant to their environment and life experiences.

As I began the field of education, I had a firm grasp of what to do and what not to do. The firm grasp I had an idea of was not anything compared to actually being in the field. My ideas of being stern and meticulous went out the window when it came to middle and elementary students. High school I could use some more stern tactics but grades K-8 proved to be more of a grey area to be worked on. I began working harder to make sure that everyone was achieving the same level of teaching.
First, “Education” is defined as “The process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university” by Oxford dictionary (Oxford dictionary). More specific, in a work of John Dewey, an influential American philosopher, psychologist, and educational reformer, education is explained as: The process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and directed research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of educators, but learners may also educate themselves.
Schools are the second place after home where students’ behavior and future educational success are shaped. At schools there are many elements or factors that can influence the teaching and learning process that may take place. Rasyid (2012) stated that there are four perennial truths that make the teaching and learning process possible to take place in the classroom. If one of these is not available, there will be no teaching and learning process, though the learning process itself may still take place, they are: (1) Teacher, (2) Students, (3) Material and (4) Context of time and place. All of them are related to one another.
Malcolm X once said “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepared for it today.” In the western world education plays a vital role in shaping our future; it determines if we will survive or fail in the world we created for ourselves. Our world is constantly changing and it requires a society that is well versed in understanding the problems deriving from cultural differences and tolerance of one another’s beliefs and perceptions. With the power of education we are able to deal with the problems of economic, government, religion and culture differences.
