Elizabeth Cady Stanton was an important leader and left a legacy because she gave thoughtful/well-spoken speeches, made a very influential person out of herself, and have out of the box thoughts. To start off, Stanton gave speeches that spoke very well in the women’s point of view. For instance, Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s speech “Our Girls” she states that girls should get an education so they can help them develop as a person, learn more about the world, and complete their goals to happiness. This shows how she wanted for people to know how women and girls grow up not being afraid because they all have something that needs to be shared in this world and not be hidden away because of men’s power of women.
Introduction “Although women today have greater options through education than their mothers and grandmothers ever dreamed of, the view persists that the real vocation of women is mother: It’s the natural thing” (Senior,). The writer opines that the statement put forward by Senior still holds merit today as we live in a society that favours pronatalism. Pronatalism refers to any attitudes or policies which encourage reproduction and exalt the role of parenthood (Peck). Pronatalism makes assertions about what provides a woman’s ultimate fulfilment in life, and what her destiny will be. The forces of pronatalism are significant to women as it is the philosophy responsible for the persistent idea that a woman’s destiny and ultimate fulfilment is entrenched in childbearing and motherhood.
One answered, “Because you are a woman and you should know what is happening with people you are of the same kind.” Another said, “Because it is everywhere.” It is undeniably true and no such words of us can argue nor dispute with the said statements. Christie Taylor spoke, “Discover your power. I want a girl inspired in some way, such as by conveying the feeling of discovering new abilities she may not have thought she had.” Emphasizing on the statement “discover your power”, most women are restricted as well as controlled on trying new things because of the situation and position the society puts them in. Educating women of how the world behaves gives each of them the condition of believing they can do something, of having a reason to do it. [In addition, what was mentioned gives rise to the women’s career choices.

From starting her own charity to help girls get a better education in a place where they were told they couldn’t be taught and are treated like objects. They are more likely to understand the diseases and to clean water and sanitation as priority households. Education plays a key role in national development. When it comes to the education of women, it is more important because women play a significant role in the training and education of new generations.
But one thing that doesn 't make sense is, why should it be a woman that should grow to become the ideal wife? Why can 't men grow to become the ideal husband? Girls are taught at a very young age to learn how to clean, cook, learn to take care of a child, take their studies, and make themselves enough so they 'll be ready for marriage. Now that 's just not fair, there 's so much more to a woman than house chores. The fact that women are able to take care of all that 's expected of them, just proves that women are much more stronger than men will ever be.
Through education, the girl can achieve aplenty, and she can enable herself to live a life of dignity. Also, with the help of awareness, the women can take care not only of herself but of others as well. She becomes aware of the rights she has and also learns how to fight for those rights. The education of the girl child, either inside or outside the house, has to include what she needs to learn regarding the above mentioned rights. The female sex in the country needs to be illuminated with the true value and power they
In order to explain this abuse against women and children has tremendous costs to communities, nations and societies for public wellbeing, health and safety, and for school achievement, productivity, law enforcement, and public programmes and budgets. Abuse against women and girls is an extreme manifestation of gender inequality and systemic gender-based discrimination. The right of women and children to live free of abuse depends on the protection of their human rights and a strong chain of justice. Countries that enact and enforce laws on violence against women have less gender-based violence. Today 160 countries have laws to address violence against women.
