China has made huge progress after its cultural revolution from 1966 until 1976 in many different aspects including education system. Education may be one of the most influential forces in society today. China has developed its own education as well as accepted foreign systems which is evident from many eminent international schools in China which resulted many students to be matriculated at top ranking colleges and universities. According to research by the International School Consultancy, there are now about 8,000 international schools around the world, teaching 4.26 million students. Within these international schools, 87% of them use IB (International Baccalaureate) or AP (Advanced Placement) as fundamental part of the curriculum.
