The rapidly growing population means there is a larger and growing labor force which needs to be educated and skilled to better contribute to the economy. Educating women was the primary focus for many modern feminists, explaining that if women were educated the opportunities
In many countries living in extremely poor conditions, not only is basic health an issue but also the lack of education. Although it is a necessity, “more than 72 million children of primary education age are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate” (Rights to Education 1). The deprivation of education should be taken serious if a change is wanted. People need to become aware of how important education is and the benefit that it has.
An example of what I mean is that, if woman are told they lack in a certain area, it can be made a goal to educate more women on this
Education is interconnected with every single strand of the economy, laws, jobs, research… I believe that education is not only one of the most important factors in a development of a country but instead, it has a greater significance than other factors. First and Foremost, Education is the foundation of our society. It gives us the power of knowledge and the power of assisting others. Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapons which you can use to change the world – The Former
Therefore, the Philippine Constitution of 1987 mandated to providing free education which resulted in the increase of enrollment in the public elementary and secondary schools. However, qualified public school teachers are hindered to perform at their best because of the lack of instructional materials, inadequate facilities and lack of training for professional growth. Furthermore, the number of students reaching up to sixty in a classroom have distorted the learning environment as well. A problem so true that teachers need to exert extra effort to attract a good teaching strategy.
In third world countries, girls are fighting their families, communities, and countries in order to go to school. Governments need to support these young women and fulfill their dreams. Not only will it empower women, but it will positively impact each family, community, and country. Firstly, the only way to decrease the educational gap between males and females is to implement policies that decrease or completely remove school fees for girls and prohibit families from removing their daughters from school before the age of 18. As a result, these nations will achieve gender equality as both females and males will be equally qualified for jobs.
I want to enter into the field of education because I want to see children succeed. I love to let children know that they can accomplish anything that they put their minds to. I want to enter the field of education because I genuinely have a passion to teach and better every child that I can. I aspire to be a teacher because I want to become a great teacher that kids can look up to. I hope to someday be a teacher that when a child grows up they still remember fondly.
The human development index proves that countries where children with few years of education are overall less developed. South Korea’s recent transformations shows how important a strong education system truly is. Thirty years ago it was a low income country with 78% of it’s population illiterate because only 40% of children were able to attend secondary school. After the country decided to invest money in their education system, all children had to opportunity to attend secondary school, thus their economy skyrocketed.
According to Dr. Jose Rizal “Ang kabataan ang siyang pag-asa ng bayan” that’s why education should be plan wisely. Having a good quality of education is having a powerful community; if people in the community are educated then economy will be better. If we want to have a better economy of coarse we should have knowledge and skillful graduates that industry needs. To meet the goal we must improve our education system and the key to that is to implement and support k-12 K-12 was implementing starting 2011 and by 2013 president Aquino signed the k-12 into law, adding 3 years to country basic education curriculum.
Education is a significant part of everyone’s life and a priority for people. Urban areas have a high quality of education. Cities have modern private and free schools, colleges,
Change is occurring in society at a rapid speed. Change may be described as the adoption of an innovation (Carlopio 1998), where the ultimate goal is to improve outcomes through an alteration of practices. The above saying can truly be applied on the modern education system. The society in the twenty first century is increasingly diverse, globalized, and complex and media-saturated. In today’s world of technology, the olden education system with its teacher-centered approach, passive learning, time based, textbook driven, fragmented curriculum, low expectations from the learner does not seem to cater to the learning needs of twenty first century students.

In the Philippines, the 1987 Philippine Constitution declares that education is a right of every Filipino (Maligalig, 2010). Thus, the policies of the government on education have been primarily about education for all citizens. Being a right, this must benefit every member of the Philippine population regardless of their language and ethnicity. The right to education, however, must not be confined in the context of being able to go to school or having more areas and structures for schooling. The right to education is undermined and meaningless if teachers are under-trained, learning curricula and materials are irrelevant and learning environment is unsafe and not conducive (Mapa, 2013).
