Good day everyone! I am sure that education is one of the most important rights for everyone in this world, and I do believe that education does not have borders in between the opposite genders. Education provides boundless information, knowledge and skills for all human kind as well as to inculcate human ethics and morale values. However, there are still communities whom bears discrimination in their minds towards females in receiving education. They tend to keep an old-fashioned concept and philosophy, that is women should stay at home. With such a cultural discourse in certain countries such as sub-Saharan Africa, India and Arabic states, there are a high number of children whom are not receiving proper school education. According to UNESCO’s survey entitled, “Education for all Global Monitoring Report: Children still battling to go to school” back in year 2013, there are 57 million of children around the world are not going to school. There is also a statistical result of 95% of the 28.5 million children not getting a primary school education live in low and lower-middle income countries – 44% in sub-Saharan Africa, 19% in south and west Asia and 14% in the Arab states. The sad reality is that girls make up 55% of the total and were often the victims of rape and other sexual violence that accompanies armed conflicts.
